We were sent an email confirmation by the gentleman we talked to on the phone. We show up for our appointment and are told by a younger gal that they are short staffed and they don't open accounts on Saturdays. I try explaining that we were informed they are short staffed but were able to schedule, to which she stated "it's not my problem! We care about our customer but I can't assist you". She said she was going to check inside and find out who we talked to. She came back to the locked door and asked me for my name and number and told me someone will call on Monday. I asked for her name so I could inform whoever called me, that she refused to keep my appointment. She said "no I won't give you my name and it doesn't matter because anyone who talked to you would have told you that we don't have staff for your appointment ". I felt like she was insinuating I wasn't being truthful about our appointment. She had other bankers at the inside door. Almost as if she was going to need back up. Thankfully and sadly I recorded the incident via voice recording on my phone. All together the experience was bizarre and I am beyond disappointed with my experience. i have tried calling to rectify the situation and cant seem to get through either. Just an FYI for anyone trying to sign up..you aren’t allowed to sign over checks to cash in your account because they mark them as fraud and force you to go into the bank with said person to sign it over so they can “witness it”. Horrible customer service, the manager argued the whole time and tried to get personal details about our accounts (stuff that’s absolutely not her business)…I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Any other bank can take signed over checks and not count it as fraud. Might wanna check into the policies they have.”

I picked which option was the best for me financially. Sam helped me finish the paperwork and on the 3rd day, walked out with a check. Everyone is so friendly at the Waite Park location. They will try and find the best deal for you and they appreciate the business. It’s nice to have a place like this when you are in a pinch and need some funds to help you out. I work with Andrea on a daily basis doing many loans for my customers and she always has a personable demener. She is great with every customer I send to her and always makes them feel like family and not just another number or paycheck. I have been in the automobile business for the past 17 years and rarely do we find many bankers that have a heart and care for their customers like she does. On a personal level First Citizens, Andrea and Mike have been great to work with! I have personal and business accounts set up with them. First Citizens and Andrea went above and beyond to make my dreams come true in financing me with my own Dealership. Without there hard work and hours of working to get you the best rates or deal I wouldn't be where I am at. Anyone can go to an establishment (bank or credit union) and cash a check or have a checking or savings account but when you go into First Citizens you feel like your family. Everyone is always in a positive attitude with smiles on their faces. If you are looking for a hometown feeling or family atmosphere please give them a shot. I would like to give a huge shout out to Andrea and Mike for all you do for me, my customer's, and the community.”

He lost my business and I will be contacting the BBB about his attitude and business practices. Will never do business with this company again.”
