OneMain Financial Shorter Ave, Rome

If I could leave 0 stars for this company I would. I get all this spam mail from them and was referred by Credit Karma to use them. When Shyanne or whatever the loan specialists name is called, she didn’t even have the correct loan amount that I applied for. She said I needed more income, so I added my husband even though we share the SAME bank account for income verification. She then said that a charge off balance from 6 YEARS ago showed the total balance as the monthly amount, and even though she can clearly see we do not pay that amount monthly, she couldn’t fix it. I called back in and spoke with another representative who said that if I got it fixed, they would work with us. So I contacted the credit agency and disputed it with a fixed update. When I called back, they made me speak with Shyanne again and she argued that I spoke with her and she didn’t say that. I had to not nicely tell her it wasn’t her I spoke with and that is what I was told. She then changes the story to how I have to contact the actual company and get something from them or I have to wait 30 days for them to do another application and get our credit report from another agency and not the one I disputed with. I will NEVER work with this company and I will not recommend them to anyone else. Customer service is poor and Shyanne sucks!

HORRIBLE!!! DM it’s the worse person I’ve dealt with, been doing business with them for many years and this last time I was treated unethical..NEVER returned my calls, LIED TO ME. Spoke to the DM she was Rude!!! Wouldn’t work a pay off agreement after I paid over 6k in interest.. gave $100 dollars off the loan really??? Wouldn’t reversed my payment that I had paid days before to decrease my pay off..HORRIBLE!! Will not recommend this branch to anyone.. interest are high, don’t matter if you are loyal or how lol you been in business with them you aren’t NO ONE WHEN YOU NEED HELP!!

The people are nice enough but the lending practices are predatory. I've made $2000 in payments and reduced the principal by only $600. I will never pay this off. And they're constantly trying to get me to take out even more loans.

I want to compliment the entire team. Holly and your branch manager were very friendly and helpful. This was an easy and fun experience. I will tell all my family and friends

Worst financial company I have ever dealt with. Made too many inquires into my credit which impacted my credit score. Extremely nonprofessional!!!

The only thing is they need to be more competitive with the APR.

I know this is a business and I can say they have good customer service....

Love the people at the branch I use. Tabitha and Skip are AWSOME!!!!!!!!
