We banked with the learning bankers at ufirst since 2014. When the pandemic hit we had to basically walk these roomie bankers through the process ourselves. unfortunately they were not the best credit union to be with during this tragic time. On top of that as we struggled to stay alive they refused ti waive minor fees which showed us quickly that this is not an institution you want to partner with. They are small slow, and unwilling to help small businesses like we have had in other ventures with other banks. I highly recommend taking your money and business elsewhere.

Better off putting money under the mattress. 1) Fraudulent charge on a visa credit card for $700 was ‘investigated’ for 3 months only for the credit union to say there was nothing they could do. I was not contacted once for additional information from the bank. 2) I took a car loan from the bank which included state sales tax. The way this works is the bank pays the stated, and they send me the license plates. After 6 months of hassle and not receiving my plates, I go to the DMV and pay tax for my plates. I contact the bank who says they paid the DMV, and it’s out of their hands. So I go back to the DMV who has no record of the taxes being paid by the bank. I go back to the bank who now says it’s the dealerships fault, same thing. After 3 months of back and forth with the credit union, I have to provide documentation from all parties and threaten a formal investigation for the bank to say they were at fault and indeed never paid the tax’s. They finally return the $2,000. 3) I use my CC to buy $30 worth of goods on the 28th. Several days later on the 1st the bank charges me interest on the $30 for being outstanding for 4 days. Their excuse is that the interest is accrued for balances that roll over into the next month. After several days speaking with multiple people, I get the interest returned because it’s only supposed to accrue on debt that is outstanding for 30+ days. 4) I receive 2 fraudulent charges on my CC. I contact the bank to block the charges and they tell me they can’t do that. So I reach out to the company who is charging me, and they are able to reverse the charge. With concern that someone has access to my card, I use the banks app to disable the card and request a new one. A week later, I receive another $190 fraudulent charge (on a card that’s blocked). I ask the credit union how that’s possible and they give me the run around. After asking to escalate the situation and speak to a manager, the associate hangs up on me. The situation is still pending. *mind you these case examples happened over a 3 year period. Save yourself the hassle and headache and bank with literally anyone else.

I applied online, everything was confirmed and i was given an account# and sent paperwork i needed to sign to complete the process. I instead went into the closes branch near me to complete and the finance person who assisted told me that they could not give me an account because i had went delinquent on a mortgage payment a few years ago and that i had some medical collections on my credit. I was unaware that i needed to have perfect credit to open an account. She made it seem like i was asking for a line of credit. Luckily i contacted the rep who had helped me by email and she talked to her manager and got it all cleared up. For all the inconvenience they even gave me a gift. I guess it depends on who you encounter or deal with.. i was very disappointed and then happy right afterwards!

Awful! Had accounts at this branch for a long time. Keep a lot of money with them. When I went to their offices to talk to the manager about an issue which their customer support told me had to be resolved by going into a branch, the manager, Megan, couldn't even be bothered to step out of her glass cubicle and walk 10 feet to speak with me. Such apathy. The place was a ghost-town. I understand why. No one wants to deal with them.

A staff helping me addressed my concerns. I was not comfortable with other staff gossiping. Not professional! Sitting in a circle at at their teller stations and A Negative environment They're to be representing the company on a positive note not negative.

They were awful. Being a "university" federal credit union they are zero willing to work with university students. They didn't even bother getting back to us about our application, we waited a week and then had to call them. VERY poor service and I will never go back.

Used to have great customer service but has gone downhill. Considering taking our business elsewhere. Seems to have lots of the hassles of larger banks without the customer care you'd expect from a credit union.
