      My mother passed away. My father called the bank because they said we had to have an appointment. After calling they said we had to go to this location and go threw the drive thru. That they weren't doing appointments. So we did. After finally getting to the window we told them the changes we needed to make and they got all the paperwork that was needed. Then we were told we would have to pull around and wait till someone came out. We waited for over and hour for someone to come out. I understand with the way things are right now that precautions have to be taken but taking an hour was uncalled for. Then the Lady was very short with us and we still haven't gotten a call back on ordering checks. I guess they are lucky it is up to my father that he has his accounts here. I sure wouldn't open an account with them.

      This used to be a great bank, but the extremely long lines just for a simple transaction shouldn't take 45 minutes. Daily ATM withdrawal limit needs to be raised up to at least $1500 if customers can't be accommodated in under 30 minutes.

      Came here today to open a bank account. Waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes only for the women to skip over us to help a guy who'd been there 5 minutes. You need to get a better system for people waiting or maybe pay better attention to who comes in first.

      Looks like I need to find a new bank for my business. I can't keep sitting in line at drive thru for an hour at a clip. Now they are closed on Saturday making it harder to do biz with them. Picture shows how it looks waiting in line Everytime I come here. It won't happen again... They don't give a damn about customer service

      I’m over the moon with my experience with South State. In particular, Hailey at this branch has gone above and beyond to help me in some sticky situations. I had been banking with Wells Fargo since 1997 when COVID-19 hit. WF left me out to dry when it came to the PPP, I own several small businesses and was dependent on getting this funding. I contacted SS because I had a boat loan with them and most banks were requiring you to have a previous relationship. Not only did they not require a previous relationship, but assigned me a personal rep (Hailey) who worked 24/7 until my applications were processed. She know every minute counted, and took it seriously. I could cry I was so relieved to have her help. She earned all of my business for life. Since then, switching all of my accounts over has been tricky but worth it. Hailey helped me deal with any hiccups. Looking forward to a life long relationship with SS. Thank you Hailey!!

      They have lied to me relatively since opening the account in Feb about stupid things. The branch manager is always somewhere else normally Dr appointments. Don't count on doing anything on their sat hours due to them not staffing to meet demands. I just waited an hour to shut down my account to get told to get in another line. It's a joke do not trust your money with these people

      Was going in to open a bank account and the lobby was close during the times that they should be open I'm not going to chase banks around I planning on looking for another bank

      They don't allow cash deposits at their ATM! You have to go to Bacon's Bridge ATM!
