Fly by night, bottom of the barrel title company selected by a loan company only focused on closing their deal. 18 months after my refinance, I found out the Solidifi did not coordinate or ensure the reconveyance of the lien paid off. That's right, I found out I still had the previous lender's lien on my home as well as the new loan. I called Solidifi for an explanation, the girl who answered the phone was curt and could have cared less about helping me. When I asked why the reconveyance was not a part of the title work for the refinance she simply said, "we don't do that." I asked if she could help me get it sorted and recorded, she said, "Nope. We don't do that." Useless!Response from the owner

Mr. Papola was there to walk me through my first refinance and give me insights on market in general. This company took the time to explain things beyond the transaction and we're patient with me. I was supposed to receive an e-copy of my draft closing documents and I was given 3 business days to to review them for any changes. Its been 2 weeks, the loan has been closed and yet I have not received final documents, let alone the draft documents. I am going to rate my lender poorly for choosing Soliodifi despite of such poor reviews. If someone from Solidifi is reviewing this, then please email me e-copy of my closing documents. Update: I have now received required documents. Had to call twice today, but Liz was able to get this issue resolved. Changing review from 1 star to 3 stars.Response from the owner

After a horrendous closing yesterday where both the title company and law firm dropped the ball, I had to spend the entire day chasing both companies to figure out where my closing docs were. I will not ever accept a closing team from Solidifi or Holler Law Firm ever again in any future purchases. You as a buyer should only use these two firms if you want to spend all day on the phone trying to figure out where your loan is, because each side is "waiting on the other" (and also advising you to call the other firm). You will have to understand the back-end process and micromanage all of it on your own.Response from the owner

Solidfi "lost" our 200 page fully signed closing package and a $4000 closing check after they received it and signed for it via FedEx. We are now being asked to resend EVERYTHING. Aren't they accountable since they received the package and signed for it via FedEx? Once a package is received in their mailroom, isn't it impossible to lose a massive ream of signed pages? Isn't this what they do ALL DAY LONG - Receive closing packages and thousands of dollars via cashier's checks? Why is this on my husband and I to fix? If I was this bad at my job, I would be FIRED.Response from the owner

A nightmare experience with these folks. The notary person looked at us and said "you cannot read these documents and will have to just sign. If you don't like it you have 3 days to cancel." How is that legal? This title company had different closing information than the documents provided by my lender. On top of it all, she never showed us her credentials or ID during the closing process! Don't close with Solidifi!Response from the owner

I closed on my property in July 2020. My homeowners insurance has been cancelled due to non payment by Solidi Title. The customer service at their Rhode Island headquarters is terrible. There website has zero information on who to contact as far as customer service. I have been on hold for close to an hour. Someone finally answered but hung up on me right away. I live in a state that is in the middle of hurricane season and have zero homeowners insurance because Solidifi Title has not sent my $1800 dollar payment to my insurance company.Response from the owner

My refi went through over a week ago. The payout to the previous company was supposed to have gone out a few days later. Still waiting and the current company is adding late fees and harassing us as a result. All because this company cannot get their stuff together!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE WORST!!!!!!!Response from the owner
