      I belong to a branch office CU in TX so I kept it in the family and joined this one. I like the idea that they have several branches in my area. The people are friendly and I love the fact that they have ATM machines in and near the hospitals. I think the best thing if you can use your debit card for purchase each mo, 15 times, and get cash $10. in a CASA act.. there is no minimum purchase to get it. Who doesn't like free money???

      This is an awesome credit union to deal with , my branch specialist Mrs. Chanelle was absolutely amazing. Help us get a lower interest rate . And was absolutely the best she didn’t stop working for us until it was done and approved . Thank you so much I will definitely recommend this credit union for having such wonderful , patient , and helpful knowledgeable people.

      Lobdell Branch in Baton Rouge is very rude ! Went in to open a business account and had to talk to one of teller while bank officer who do loan applications was standing right there and kept telling the teller what to say instead of addressing business i just left that branch need a clean house in other words you work for pelican state you put your nose in the air like you to good to come and speak with customer on whats needed to open business account. furthermore sit with customer and see what they have and go from there. that branch need a class on customer service and be reminded what their job title is!

      I became a member after working in a few branches as a contractor because of the wonderful caring staff that I found there. I have never been disappointed. The following beats anything I have ever expected. Just the other morning I woke up to the dreaded "possible fraud" email on my card. Long story short. It was fraudulent charges but every one was caught and rejected and that same morning I was able to get a new debit at the branch via the drive through. From the time I read the email, made the call and received a new card my total time investment was around 20 minutes. With a previous bank it took several weeks. Pelican greatly exceeded expectations in every way and they always do. Thank you guys so very much Joe Starns, Colonel. G4S

      This was the most Wonderful service at a credit Union ever.. Very quick and very patient.. I work with Mrs. Rushing she's very easy to talk to and very nice. She really made it easy.. But as I was waiting in the lobby, I was notice by another employee and she came out and ask me did I needed any help or whom I was waiting on, and I told her and she went right away to check,, that was great! This Credit Union will get a lot of recommendations from me. Thanks Mrs. Rushing and the Pelican Union System!!!

      You all received this star due to the fact it's going on the second week that I haven't heard anything about an a loan that I was trying to get one lady I understand she wasn't at work for a week and I get it I understand people need to take off switched me over to a gentleman I won't say his last name haven't heard anything I was supposed to get a call the following day I didn't receive that call Anna I think I like Pelican but the response to them getting back to you the lady that was working on my loan at first was awesome she was amazing she was trying to do everything she possibly could do but she was off so after that nothing happened I'm still sitting here waiting that's why you got that writing

      I absolutely love this credit union. Stellar customer service. I was online signing up for a trial offer and the fraud department thought it looked "suspicious"....their response time is impeccable. I received a text and email IMMEDIATELY after the purchase. They were making sure it was me. I called to let them know it was me and everything was fine. I'm definitely ok with that being that fraud happens so quickly online.

      The branch located on Lobdell is horrible. They are not understanding at all and they seemed to be doing an interrogation and not assisting. I was already approved for a loan and they refused to give it to me. I had a co-signer(my mom) who has trouble walking. I asked if I could simply bring her to the office and they can meet her outside. At this point both the manager and an associate looked at me as though I was lying. They then became rude and asked many questions about my mom’s health. Nevertheless I will never visit this branch and what a way to treat a new customer!
