Overall my experience was positive. My local real estate agent was concerned about having an out-of-town lender; the trust I had in Allen Mische's integrity trumped any other concerns. The out-of-town risk did not come to fruition. Allen completed all the paperwork and transferred the funds to the Title Agency in a timely manner; the close transaction was a smooth one. Allen also did a god job of managing my expectations with an accurate HUD estimate. My experience would have been higher if Allen could have helped to better manage my VA Loan approval. While my situation was a bit unique, it would have been helpful if Allen seek answers to some of the personnel record nuances, put pressure on the VA to deliver due to time constraints, and provided answers to questions that I ultimately had to research. Overall, I am pleased with my Mortgage experience.

My wife and I worked with Biff Bryan to purchase our first house, and overall, things went pretty smoothly. Going with NB Kansas saved us ~700-800 over USAA, and their rates were the best around. Outside of some minor issues (initial GFE was incorrect, last minute closing date shifts), we were pleased with our experience.

Five stars for Dave Devine. He went above and beyond every step of the way during our VA loan application process. Whatever the issue, he worked diligently to solve it at almost any hour of the day. Our loan was secured long-distance with very little difficulty. Dave is the real deal! Don't go anywhere else for your mortgage. He will take care of you!

After shopping around for mortgage rates, NBOKC offered a rate .50% below any other bank. I sent the GFE from NBOKC to representatives from other lenders and they told me "I don't know how they get to those numbers," and "you should lock that rate in." My loan officer, Todd Bukaty was very proactive and was in constant communication throughout the process. I kept waiting for a "catch" to the low rates, but it never came. Great service throughout.

Wow! GREAT personal Service! My wife and I had some extremely trickey issues with an older Foreclosure and some incorrect Credit reporting by two of the Credit rating companies. Glen Coger was our Loan officer and provided almost concierge type service. Each time the Underwriter would request documentation or information Glen ensured we knew wha tit was needed for, and where to get it. I would recommend NBKC to anyone!

Matt, the consultant who handled my loan, provided excellent service. I am a first-time homebuyer, and I bought an older home. Those two variables made for a roller coaster ride. But Matt guided me through the process with speed, authority and courtesy.
