My mother passed away from Covid, and I was left a box of her jewelry and was unsure if it was costume or real, I called around to many different jewelry stores and pawn shops and none of them would help me. I finally tripped across Nathan‘s and the owner said absolutely come in, he would be happy to help me. He took the time to go through each and every piece so as to not miss anything and gave me ballpark estimates and understandings of their historical and/or monetary value. I cannot thank him enough for his patience, kindness, and thoughtfulness in going through every piece. He has helped me with this issue during a very difficult time and I’m eternally grateful.

Friendliest pawnbroker in the area by far AND fair prices. (As a single mom in the 90s Nathan was kind enough to pawn my coffeemaker and stereo for me repeatedly.) After that, I buy the highest quality gold and diamond jewelry from Nathan. He is the kindest and the best.

They lie, I called about pawning a TV monitor, 7 months old flat screen. Over the phone they promised they'd take it, spent 30 min strapping it up and rode it up there on a bike just to be told it didn't match their criteria. The guy Sat there for 10 min while I took the makeshift strap off watching knowing he wouldn't take it. I'm very upset with this business. I called first for a reason. Additionally you're response is a lie because you did promise something over the phone which I have the call recorded.

I have had the best experience at Nathan's Pawn shop! This is the only pawn shop I will do any business with. All of the staff is very friendly and professional. I bought 2 tv's from there still in the box like new and paid a very reasonable price for them. I dealt specifically with Willie but all of the staff is great!

Nathan’s Pawn Shop in Virginia Beach is by far one of the very best pawn shops in Hampton Roads. Nathan and his staff are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. You will feel right at home when you walk in. His jeweler Gilbert always does a fantastic job and produces the highest quality work in this area.

I deal with a lot of pawn shops and this one is the worst by far. If you want to sell a gun go to Superior or Glendas and if you want to sell gold go to liberty. Just avoid this rip off place. Ex. They offered me $50 for a gun. Superior offered me $125. Offered me $10 for gold, liberty offered $30.

Never had a problem with Nathan's lynnhaven pawn. Everytime I needed a short term loan this pawn shop was always there for me and they also work with me to get my keepsakes back home ..... They never try to play any games and I have peace of mind knowing that my keepsakes are safe there.

Came here to borrow money and they loaned me better prices than 2 other shops in Virginia Beach. All staff was friendly and made the experience very comfortable. Definitely will go back in the future

they greeted me very friendly and professionally. answered any and all questions i had . worked a nice fair price for everything i asked for and gave me a scratch off !!!!! loved them i will be returning for sure :D
