Mountain America Credit Union UT, South Jordan

This is by far my favorite MACU location. I’ve always had exceptional service and an amazing experience! Susan set me up with everything I needed during my time here. She was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and knowledgeable. It was a great stress of my shoulders to have her helping me, and I really appreciate her and all she did to take care of me. Highest compliments and million thanks to her!

I went to this credit union because my son worked there for several years and recommended it. The tellers were great and the personal banker was even better. He sat down with me and explained all my options and I felt like he had all the Time in the world to help me. I would highly recommend this credit union

I love working with Mountain America. I have had the run around in my career with banks. I worked with Wells Fargo for over a decade and they literally pushed me out with bad service and products. I tried Chase and my account manager would never return a call. I have huge business accounts, you think I would get some attention. Moving to Mountain American, finally, has given me everything I need. Tyler Meredith is my account manager and he is amazing! It is so refreshing to have a good feeling again with a financial institution. Keep up the great work!

Edit: Tuesday, Oct 20th. 8:30 am. ATM is down again. What the heck is wrong with this location? Time to buy a new machine? Months ago I posted in frustration over the ATM not working. I am pleased to update my review. Ow and say Mountain America was. Very responsive to my concern and there have at least 3 months with no ATM issues at all. Yay! Previous review: The tellers and people inside are awesome, but the ATM at this location NEVER works. It is broken literally every Friday and Saturday. They recently got a new ATM and I was hoping things would change, but nope, Saturday Sept. 7th, at 9:30am the ATM won't do cash withdrawals. Very frustrating.

I LOVE Mountain America and will never bank anywhere else. The staff in South Jordan are wonderful. Always willing to help with anything I need, and they have very knowledgeable loan officers. You need to be sure to make an appointment though, because they get busy fast, and you can end up waiting for a very a long time. That being said, however, they are totally worth the wait!!

Maverick was incredibly helpful and dedicated to answering any questions I had. He showed interested in my business and ended up helping me get a lower rate on my car loan. I have never enjoyed a visit to the bank so much. Great work MACU! Maverick deserves a promotion and a raise!

It is one of the smoothest experience in purchasing auto-loan through Mountain American Credit Union, South Jordan branch. Using the latest technology, the branch staff will process your auto-load application in fantastically short time. The bank staff person Brenton, he having through knowledge about loan procedures and helpful in nature. I had a deal with car owner, who is far from the South Jordan and they want to return home before snow fall start with finishing all procedures. The Brenton made so easy that within 20 minutes, I was having a loan amount check in hand for car owner. Along with this, he helped in opening account, setup online, other documents. I would strongly recommend for new loan purchase for this MACU branch.

They May have good customer service inside but, good luck talking to someone on the phone. On April 16 th I dropped a check in the night deposit box at 0730. By 5 pm that night it still had not been deposited in my account. I called at 0900 on the 17 th to find out why. I left a message to call back. I had still not heard back by 10, so I called and spoke to call center. Which by the way was very helpful and tried every avenue available to her to get someone on the phone at the South Jordan parkway branch. She could not reach a teller or a manager by phone. She ended up sending a message in caps to the tellers and manager. After 2 hours I heard back from manager who stated they had deposited the check. Great a day later. I wonder if others who needed that money in their account that day may have found themselves over drawn. The most frustrating part is not being able to reach someone on the phone. I did receive a call from a teller about two hours after speaking with manager, great! I have never had this problem at the riverton branch. I give the river bottom MACU an “F”.

We had an awesome experience with this branch. We were working on last minute loan so we came to this branch 10 min before closing but Josh Lucero and Josie were very helpful and patient with us. They stayed an hour late to help us with every detail of the loan.

Joann Earnshaw is honestly one of the most helpful employees MACU has. No matter what the question is, she has an answer and so much more. She works hard to do everything she can to help the situation at hand. I am so glad I’ve had the opportunity to work her. MACU, you have an amazing employee on your hands. Make sure you take good care of her because she’s worth every dime you invest in her.
