Customer service is such a disappointment. Promise to call you back or send information and then they don't. Had some orders where the merchandise was not delivered and I was supposed to get credited back but never received my refund. The merchant said they refunded my money so I should contact the bank and / or open a dispute. Keys credit union told me they won't open a dispute on my behalf because the threshold was too low so they only care about you if you are rich. They also denied refusing to release my refund from merchant. Closing my account. Rotten experience.

The worst customer service ever, went to paid off my car loan, but the first teller said she doesn’t know how to do it , and that she will only take monthly payment, then she sends me back in the waiting line, in 15 minutes finally got to another teller told me that she doesn’t accept credits/debit cards, only cash, and refusing to get my card, I asked why and she said that I will be charged $20 fee, I said I am fine with that, but she refused and sending me to the ATM , (like that ATM will give me that amount), went to a different bank got the money (cash) and come back , waiting in line again a good amount of time to get to the teller and her to tell me that she doesn’t accept cash, she accepts checks or cards. Imagine my frustration, I asked for a manager, because I thought that I will explode, when the manager came, said that is no problem and in less that 5 min my loan got paid. The worst customer service ever, by the way every single time was a different teller, looks that they are switching every 10-15 min. Glad that I don’t have to deal with this bank anymore, there are so much better choices out there with decent customer service. Stay away!!!!!

As a credit union member and employee in Ohio. I was very surprised to walk in your branch and not one person looked up or acknowledged us. We were there to ask about shared branching. Acknowledging the member coming In makes them feel welcome and it also is a safety factor for the employees. Good luck and continue safety.

In Keys over 15 years. If you LIVE on a boat you will NOT be allowed to open bank account. Must have a street address. Definitely not a bank for locals. In YOUR response. I DID bring a pay stub and was still told that I could not open an account.

Horrible bank and horrible customer service, closed my account without even saying anything to me and then had the audacity to take my money that I was trying to deposit into my bank account while they had already closed my account . Then mailed me a check that they didn’t want to cash and then they charged me to cash the check … better get a piggy bank instead of trying to bank with them. Just horrible ‼️

Taylor at Keys Federal is the ONLY reason I bank here!!!! She is beyond amazing! So extremely helpful, smart, and creative. By far, the best customer service I have ever received!

We had to go into the bank and my husband and I were assisted by Petagay who was so helpful and professional. She made everything easier and explained everything so we could understand. Thank you Keya Federal and most of all thank you Petagay!

petagay is amazing…she is my favorite banker and this is my favorite bank…i am grateful to have an account here and hope to forever:-) again, petegay is the best part of the experience with keys federal.

Poor to non-existent integration with online money apps. Fees for transfers to other banks. I’ve interacted with one friendly teller. The rest, not so much. Secure communication channel is tedious at best. Bottom line, Have had vastly better experience with my former credit union in California. 01/10/2022: In response to KFCU; BS. Integration does NOT work with the aforementioned apps. I’ve tried and have been told by a branch manager that they will not work. I have to indeed sent ACH transfer to my daughter’s account in Mexico and been charged a fee. My other bank charges no such fee. Bottom line: Done with KFCU. I only wish to inform potential members that there may be better options.

I've had my accounts with Keys Federal Credit Union from the time I moved to Key West and I wouldn't consider banking with another institution. I've always been treated well and I even enjoy the occasions when I have to go into their branch on Southard Street because I know everyone there.
