      Absolute nightmare overdrafted my account which was there fault that they did refunded the account and of course charged an overdraft fee which overdrafted the account again because of there mistake. Then wouldn’t reverse it because it was policy then refused to close the account and refused to stop charging a daily over draft fee. After about 20 phone calls harassing they’re office about what bs this is they finally closed the account. Now of course I can’t open an account at another credit union because they didn’t close the account it’s been two years guess what they just closed it today they said because they haven’t heard from me in two years. The gift that just keeps giving don’t ever come to this place.

      Hello manager, Customer service needs to improve and hire more employees as members waiting for over 5 minutes is a bad experience. Customer service only has one teller who should ask for help.

      Place has great rates with 2 star customer service. If you're trying to get a loan, get ready to start jumping through hoops.

      Need to communicate information across departments had to call multiple times after I traded in my car and refinanced with new credit union due to threatening notices for insurance and payment due to their lack of communication . Ridiculous.

      Website appointment setting that doesn't work. Not enough employed/undertrained employees. Say they take walk ins but they don't. Tbh not a good impression at all. NEXT Website access WAYS HAS PROBLEMS, timing out and password reset doesn't work well just garbage. Looks like I may have to look for a better well established technologically adept bank

      I have only been in Fernley for 2 months and I was happy to see that they had a credit union. I have been very happy with the service and the help from this credit union. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

      Have banked with Greater Nevada Credit Union for over ten years. Got a home mortgage loan through GNCU, Bill Golden was the Loan Manager, very satisfied. Had several loans with GNCU, closed some and still have a loan now. Opened the first account in Carson City and when the Fernley branch opened I moved the account to Fernley. Had as many as four open accounts (personal/business)(savings/checking) at once. Deposit employment check online, quick & easy at home. Convinced spouse to open an account with GNCU, got $35.00 to do so. Originally opened account at GNCU to reduce my banking costs and fees. Check out their Rock Checking Account (free checking, $10.00 back each month when following the Rock guidelines). Ask yourself, is this what a Credit Union should do? Also, use the phone services to get help. Just that.....

      I will update the stars on my review once theres an answer to my fee reversal request but here is the issue.... GNCU charged an overdraft fee on a positive balance, which then caused a sequence of multiple other overdrafts. A little alarming that this would even happen since its supposedly automatically generated by their system. Luckily I'm obsessive about keeping track of our account and found the discrepancy immediately. Sent a message for a fee reversal for the overdraft charges and we will see what they say.

      DO NOT BANK with them! I had a fraud charge hit my account and after 3 days it finally clears is when they want to do something about it! I was told oh well you have to call this number mon-fri or oh well you can do this other form or oh well you can go to a branch which is 40 min away from me and if you attempt to call the branch you get the contact center who is useless! They don’t have info matching each other and toss you around on the phone!
