Mimi Moungovan5This has been my bank for about 10 years and I have never had a problem there and have always been treated well. Because of the good staff retention you get to be recognized and known which is a plus in my book. Parking at the previous spot of course was great -- but you adapt without it. They are highly responsive to any difficulties that come up and I really feel like I'm dealing with real people. Thanks !

Suhntay Steiger1There ATM machine (yes they only have one) is constantly breaking, that along with there reduced hours makes it nearly impossible to be sure that you can even be able to use there services. CCFCU has definitely gone down hill over the years
Response from the ownerDear Mr/Ms Steiger, yes mid-sized credit unions rely on the CO-OP network, which multiplies our four (Berkekey Branch, Berkeley Bowl (Oregon St), Alta Bates, and our newest Martinez HQ location) by a factor of x 7,500 networked ATM locations in addition to the 7-11 cash dispensers - totaling over 30,000 ATM Locations, nationwide, to meet the needs of our members. The new ATM at our Berkeley branch did experience a temporary network outage recently but this is the only outage we're aware of. Yes, the ATM vestibule has hours of operation vs the open access ATM machine at our former Ashby Ave address. After listening to the needs and concerns of our members regarding security and safety the decision was made to place the ATM inside a vestibule. The other machine was heavily used, and older, so the outages there were significantly greater. Electronic devices like ATM machines represent a significant investment for most mid-sized financial institutions. Given the planned move from the Ashby Ave address we decided to forego any significant investments in new equipment until after the move. We apologize for any inconveniences experienced.

Bianca Quintanilla2The new location it's so inconvenient at so many levels but the 2 that get me the most are the lack of accessible quick please and a huge one for me as a contractor accessible ATM machine at ALL times... However this particular location has a bright orange sticker on the door displays open hours 6am-10pm and it's closed always up until 10 am and also before 10pm Please do something about it!...🙏🏻🙏🏻👊🏻🖤
Response from the ownerEdited: Bianca, please feel free to reach out to [email protected]. In an effort to reach out to you personally, we checked and did not find you listed as a member under this screen name. We've reviewed the activity logs for the vestibule and would like to gain some additional insight into what it is you are experiencing. On our end we did not see what it is that you're describing however we want to ensure we aren't missing something. With regard to the hours of operation not being 24/7, as this vestibule is directly beneath housing units it was decided the hours would be reduced to minimize any noise impacts to the residents above. We look forward to assisting you further. LM Bianca - we are forwarding your note today, May 26, 2021, for our security providers to check into. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Alysa Miller1No experience with the bank but scared to even try and be real convenient because it’s right down the street
Response from the ownerMs Miller, our credit union (not a corporate owned bank) has been in existence for 80 years. Our mission of democratizing lending solutions, from combating redlining in the 60s, to offering loans to marginalized immigrant populations, continues to this day. As this has, and will always be, our primary focus we do our best to allocate resources where they will have the biggest impact to the communities we serve. A financial institution is as convenient as everyone's mobile device these days, ours included. We hope you find the one that fits your specific needs.
