My motherly called several times to have a banker assist her with a simple travel notification because it was not working online. She called several times and was on hold for extended periods of time and then finally when she called back she was hung up on more than once. I called for her and experienced the same thing. Extremely disappointing after banking with them for 20 years we have NEVER been treated this way. The customer service is non existent today. They don't if ask if you are willing to hold, they just say hold and put you on hold. Extremely rude and unprofessional. We are very disappointed and my mom is in another state unable to use her card.

I once laid eyes on my first bear in this parking lot. He attacked me and the bank security saved me from death. Immediately after the teller Chris came out and made sure everything was all right,. Great Staff overall. I couldn't be more impressed.

The bankers at this branch store could not get my deposit box open so they made me drive back home to get my spare key which allegedly did not work either. Upon getting their manager they learned that both of my keys do work and the bankers did not have the right key. Sent me running around town for nothing. Online banking through the mobile app has been non functional for weeks. Debit card services, activation process and customer service reps have been irritating to say the least. I hate to say it, I really do, but Wells Fargo is less of a headache to bank with despite how they charge ypu for many small transactions.

Business accounts are a nightmare. Holding online for technical support forever. Then you must go to the branch for support. El Dorado Savings is a much better option for local SLT banking, IMHO.

Every transaction is a nightmare. The first deposit was on hold for 30 days and every deposit after that was hold for over a week. I tried to use my debit card for an online transaction and there was a hold on that too. After a 30 minute hold to the number on the back of the card I was told I would have to, "step into the branch". I asked to speak to their supervisor but was told the same thing. I also signed up for their merchant account and that was a nightmare also. I was charged about $200 and $60 every month even though my contract stated they would not do that. I was able to get most of the money back but I had close my merchant account and open another one with another bank. Bank of the West is also not open on Saturdays and closes at 5:00 on the week days. This was the last straw for me. I will be closing all 3 accounts tomorrow, business checking, personal checking and savings account.

This bank has changed a lot one the recent past few years. Like someone else said, the staff is friendly and helpful. But I think it’s ridiculous to charge me a non BOTW atm fee of $10.00. That’s highway robbery. The first time I banked here they were great. But now they’ve change their policies and even the Bear logo and I think they’re owned by a French company. I could be wrong... BNP Paribus. I use to believe they got bigger by acting small- they were buying up failed savings and loans and other banks left and right since 1970 and are actually pretty huge and nationwide and I think even in Asia. This is why they no longer act small. 4 stars for the staff

I wanted to open an account in the town where I just moved. Called local branch, got an automated message to call the corporate 800# and hung up on me...? Okay. So I called the corp. 800#. Pressed 0 for a human but it's an invalid entry due to a survey they funnel you through. I do not want to partake in a survey, just have questions about opening an account! No way to opt-out of survey. I hung up, confused as to why it's so difficult to reach a local branch to ask a simple question. I called one last time, no survey this time but hold time was 12 minutes. If only they routed calls through local branches like Umpqua, this would have been easy! But instead, for what they feel is "big data" collection, they lost a new account. Bad service before I am even a customer is a HUGE red flag to me.

I give four stars for the wonderful staff. Great people, friendly and genuinely helpful. The Bank itself is a mindless, soulless for-profit corporation that does not feel for you, unlike the staff, who are warm and caring. Separate the two in your mind and you'll enjoy life (and this bank) more.
