      This place is extremely slow. The girls at this job do not want to work they sit around in the back while people are waiting. One woman with curly black hair had to handle me and another customer it took twice as long because the other employees rather sit in the back than help her. I wonder who hired or manages these employees to ensure customers are addressed. I wanted to make sure it was known you will be waiting a very long time TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THIS COMPANY.

      For now a place where we can rely on a loan, just tell you that many times I get bills that cannot be read by an ATM and I have to return to change them converted from having a Bill detector to avoid these inconveniences.

      It was my first time of getting a loan at amscot , Solamare I'm not sure if I got her name right and Kyle were so helpful to me today they made my experience less stressful and I thank you both .

      Lady's behind the counter were very rude and unprofessional. They are definitely just collecting a check and not helping customers at all.They lied and said they could not notarize my paper.

      I'm sorry but only because I just moved to Florida and got a new apartment that I decided to get the little assistance to get things up and running. But the way they trying to verify my info like I'm some kind of criminal is beyond me. Me while a Russian guy who refuse to disclose his social was service after he gave in to his reluctance behavior. It's hot! I'm annoyed and honestly contemplated walking out. I used a cash advance before and never have I ever been through this. The person helping was very nice and just doing her job but all this was too much. I have two jobs. But sometimes moving to a new state it's like starting all over again and this process was just too much for me. Been here for probably over 30 minutes now. And did I said its HOT. 🤦🏽‍♀️

      For years I've used this location. I've never had a problem, even when I had trouble paying back they worked with me until I paid it all. Was able to use them again when needed

      I wish I had a better comment about this company. I know that many people NEED their services because of convenience. Amscot needs to train and educate their employees on Customer Service 101, from this location, to the reps that answer their toll free number. The Check Cashing Store has many locations, provides much better customer service, and offers similar services for lower fees. My 70 year old mother went to this store today and she was treated like she robbed a bank just because she needed a money order for a substantial amount of money. I called their customer service to make a complaint, as I was explaining the incident the rep decided she didn't have patience for my complaint, and placed me on hold only to not return to the phone. I hung up. Dear Amscot, I may not know much, but I know that sooner or later people will get tired of the lack of customer service you provide. 0 stars deserved.

      On 9/18/19 I went to the Amscot store in the Pembroke Commons plaza in Pembroke Pines Florida to purchase my monthly bus pass. I've been going to this same store for over 3 years now and every month I buy a 31 Day pass for $70, when I went in this day to purchase I was given a pass but didn't realize the lady who helped me gave me a 7 Day pass which costs $20, I didn't find this out until I swiped my pass on the bus days later and found out I paid $70 for the wrong pass...I never thought to look at the pass after I purchased it since I never had to in all the years I've been going there. When I called later that same day I was told to come into the store with my receipt and I would be taken care of. I went back to the store the next day with my receipt and was told by the lady who helped me that she would have to call and speak to the regional manager to see what the next step would be to get the correct bus pass. After waiting about 50 minutes she told me that there was no overage in the cash that night (bus passes could only be paid by cash) and the manager said there was nothing they could do because there was no way to prove that I didn't just find the 7 day pass somewhere and was trying to scam Amscot out of a 31 day pass. It seems to me that if there's no overage in the money that means either one of two things, the employees there can't count money which is strange since they work at the Money Store or the girl who took my money that night put it in her pocket instead of the safe. How insulting is that? Not only was I given the wrong pass and had to go back to the store again and wait nearly an hour only to be told there's no way to prove I wasn't trying to scam them. I was told by the lady to call the Amscot customer service number, which I had already done the same day I realized I was given the wrong pass, to see what they could do. After several attempts to try and get someone to help me I was told by Tracey that a final decision was made and there was nothing else they could do. So basically my money was stolen, then I was accused by the same people who stole the money that there was no way of proving I wasn't trying to scam them. If the company really cared about and valued their customers they would try and get to the bottom of this matter, there must be a million cameras in that store so they could have easily reviewed that transaction and see I was given the wrong pass (31 days is red and 7 days is blue) especially since I had the receipt which showed what day/time I was there and what register I was at.I had to go back to that store later that week to purchase yet another 31day pass because my 7 day pass was about to expire, unfortunately the passes are not sold at many locations that are convenient for me due to the proximity of where I live. Overall this has been by far the worst customer service experience I ever had in my entire life. I know this review is not going to make a difference in Amscot's policies but at least if one person could be spared the same horrendous experience I went through then it'll be worth it. If I could've left zero stars I would have.

      I went to this location about a month ago to get $3200 in money orders so that I could save the 3% fee charged for credit card transactions. The person who helped me, and I am so sorry that I do not remember his name, was professional, courteous, and helpful. While I normally do not visit Amscott, this experience was definitely a positive.

      I went here for a Notary & I had the horrible pleasure of being assisted by Cassandra & she was the worst. She had absolutely no customer service & she acted as if I did something to her. I don't know where they got her from, but she's not representing them in a good light in anyway & I won't ever go back here. They need to rehire & start over because their customer service reps. are horrible.
