Max1Credit Unions are supposed to have better customer experience and more personal attention. Call times are always over 45min-1hr+. They blocked my card and the wait time is 2hours. The call back service only works occasionally. I’m moving to another bank.

Tylen Smith5Look, no one LIKES to go to the bank. I get that, I don't either. But let me explain why I still give AFCU and specifically the Centerville location a 5-star rating: 1. Debbie Bishop. She was our loan officer today. We had talked with 2 people on 2 prior occasions about getting a HELOC, and finally today we had our ducks in a row enough to pull the trigger and we got to meet with Debbie. Let me tell you, she was fantastic. She was so personable, clear, and fast. We felt the entire time that we were on the same page with her. It was such a smooth and simple process that my wife and I walked out of there talking about how shocked we were that it was so easy and pleasant. She was fantastic. 2. For a while I was doing contract work and having to deposit checks manually. The tellers were always super friendly. One of them even recognized me the 2nd and 3rd time I went in and we had some good conversation while things were processing. It was a very positive experience. 3. AFCU in general is just a great credit union. I've had an account with them for 15 years, my parents and in-laws have for far longer than that. It's a solid choice if you're looking for a new financial institution

Top10 Buys1Literally the worst experience I have ever had at a bank. I have banked with America first for years and will be switching ALL of my banking. I waited in line between 8 people with two tellers working because everyone else was just sitting around. Then, I get to the front and request a higher amount of ones for employee gifts and the very rude older woman at the teller desk YELLS in front of everyone that their is NO WAY she can give me more than $200 in ones. This was a horrible experience. Happy to take my banking elsewhere. The bank manager literally sat in his office staring at the people in line. What a joke.

Jeff Hale2I needed a notary today I tried to call this branch but the only number listed here on Google is a 800 number after 5 minutes on the phone listening to a computer, I hung up. List the local branch number!!

Duncan Cunningham (GravelTrapKing)5I was in there to co-sign on a loan, they told me that they would need to send us the title because the previous owner has a loan with AFCU too. I found out that they didn't send us the title, they sent it directly to the DMV. Also someone at AFCU forgot to stamp the title with the release so it could be issued to us. Mistakes are normal. how they recovered from them was the key to why I still do business with them. My apologies for leaving a nasty review before. I thought that they had lost my Drivers License.

Xiomara Bates1OMG !! Loan officer Michelle asked us to wait untill she was done with an elderly couple .I was able to notice they were having a frustrating experience so after she was done we came up to her with some questions about our outo loan and she was so rude from the start that we decided to leave , I guess it was because of the prior experience but that is not professional or acceptable. What a rude lady and disappointed experience .

Jake Lee1This will be in regard to the drive through. Holy cow, this is the slowest drive through on earth. If it weren’t by far the most convenient option I’d never use this place. Terribly slow. Nice people though, they just need to hustle a little. Also, I don’t go during peak hours so the lines never have cars stacked up...

Gretzky5Kent was so great! His customer service was top notch in getting us a new card, and helping with foreign currency exchange. He was super great and friendly!
