Allen completed all the paperwork and transferred the funds to the Title Agency in a timely manner; the close transaction was a smooth one. Allen also did a god job of managing my expectations with an accurate HUD estimate. My experience would have been higher if Allen could have helped to better manage my VA Loan approval. While my situation was a bit unique, it would have been helpful if Allen seek answers to some of the personnel record nuances, put pressure on the VA to deliver due to time constraints, and provided answers to questions that I ultimately had to research. When I complain they said that don't worry about it just keep the check. Then they reverse the charges of the check that we deposited. They did this without even telling us. I can't believe it. I now have to pay a bank penalty on top of it. An escrow is responsibility is the distribute proceeds. It is not their money. I am very concerned about their fiduciary responsibility.”
