If you are uncomfortable with that, AVOID. They are weirdly dodgy when you ask questions about your data security and what they do with that information. I can't speak for the physical office but the customer service online is atrocious. Please be wary that they store your bank account information and debit card information and do not allow you to delete it, even if you opt out of the loan. Per the agent "Maui" I spoke with, they store your information for 30 days, then it becomes inactive. While I asked what "inactive" status entails, and if I can have my information removed once inactive, "Maui" disconnected the chat. I was "fortunate" enough to receive her again in the chat and tried to speak to her rationally. She was embarrassingly illiterate and rude. She then directed me to call instead of responding to the question at hand. There are better options online, don't let this recession put you in a weird position with a shady company.”

They will not allow us to pay the loan off in full by credit card even though we have enough money to do so. Yesterday they lied and said my card was declined by my bank. We asked my bank about this and they said I had more than enough money to cover it and that Auto Equity Loans didn't even try to charge my card. We cannot get anyone in authority to call us back from this company and I am in contact with the Delaware Department of Banking. They are encouraging me to send all documentation to them to initiate an investigation. I am giving this company until the end of the day before I do this. Do not do business with this company! To put this into proper perspective, I borrowed about $1,600. I was scheduled to pay 12 monthly payments of over $300 a month, and then have a balloon payment of over $1,900 at the end of the year....otherwise, I lose my car! What a rip-off!”

As I have stated before several times, I was illegally REDIRECTED from a legitimate website, CATO Fashions, and I thought I was purchasing items from CATO and NOT "Western Tags". I have never heard of this shady so-called "company". They evidently stole some info and images from CATO and other websites, created their own website and a fake Facebook page, posted false positive reviews that cannot be verified, and scam people out of their hard earned money. I was charged $114.16 for junk that came in an unmarked package from overseas, return address nonexistent (PO Box invalid), no packing slip, no tags on any of the junky clothes, no notification that the package was delivered nearly a month after the order, and no point of contact to try to initiate a return. The clothes were NOT CATO fashions, looked like something out of a Dollar Tree, were of various sizes, some damaged and sewn together incorrectly so that they couldn't even be tried on. I have been trying with no luck to get ANYONE to respond to my emails, and there is no customer service phone number. They say that they accept returns with a 15 day period, but how could anyone do that when it takes a month to receive the merchandise? These awful "clothes" were supposed to be a Christmas present.”
