I go into the office and fill out the paperwork. Sat in the office for about 5 minutes, called back up to the window. As usual, turned down because of not having an active checking account! What Advance America, and other loan offices needs to understand is that people on disability have no reason to have a checking account. ALL of the money we get goes on a DEBIT CARD EVERY MONTH. That is how we pay bills mostly is by using our debit cards. The Government doesn't pay with paper checks anymore. So, no one needs to go to a bank to cash their check. So my advice would be don't even apply for a loan if you have no active checking account. Friendly staff people telling you "No Sir, you're not approved." Store is clean. Windows are clean.”
