Mike Zimmerman4Love this place. Great deals, very nice employees and fair loans. There is one problem that brought this from 5 to 4 stars. They don’t always have money to buy or loan. This is obviously a rare occasion but just that it happens once is bad. This has happened to me maybe 4 times over the 3 years I’ve been coming there to get a loan. So if you’re counting on a loan from them I’d suggest you make sure you have a back up plan. Again I love this place and they are very fair so I think they would agree with the premise that a pawn shop should always have money to loan especially if the loan you need is only $100.

R Ross1The lady who runs the place is sexist. On more than one occasion I got no offer or a bad offer from her, then sent in a women with the same item and got a fair (not good) offer. We're talking gold and pro grade tools. The guy who works there has been in the pawn biz quite a while and still has not learned customer service. Go to Island lake jewelry and pawn instead if you can.
