Don't waste your time here please, the service is horrible. The staff is rude. Especially the older woman working here. Shes got an attitude and she'll try to scam you on brand new items and any belonging you bring in. They have a nice gun selection but that doesn't make up for being rude to costumers.. If you want some advice don't be rude. Because you will lose business. So try different approach. If anyone reads this please take this into consideration. These people don't care about you or whatever you're going through. They just want to make quick money off of you. So please don't do business here. Thank you.

      Response from the owner

From the older woman: I recall your visit. You brought in a Xbox One, an Echo Dot, Sony earbuds, and a used Alexa Echo, generation 2. The Xbox made a humming noise, so had to say no to that. The Dot retails for $25, the earbuds $20 and the used Echo $59.99 new. Pawns are done on a basic formula: 25 to 30 percent of retail value depending on condition of the item. I explained that to you. At no time was I rude or dismissive. In fact, I said no to the used Echo and then decided to take it because of your situation. I can't buy items for more than retail value. I can't buy items AT retail value. The percentage on your items came to a value of around $35 to $40 dollars. Which I offered you. And that was stretching it. You declined. This morning you came in and asked for more money on the same items. I'm not sure what you expected, more than full retail value??? The point of buying items is not to barely break even. The actuality of the situation is that you wanted me to buy a broken Xbos, and pay more than the other items were worth at retail,. I suggest you bring them back to Walmart and get a full refund.

My grandfather did business with this place for nearly ten years. Easily bought 20+ guns from them, and multiple tools, electronics, etc. He was friends with the owner. Jump to present day, my grandpa has now passed, I brought some of his rifles in to sell. This is where the owner really played me for stupid. I brought in a $1,600 rifle with a $300 scope, and a $750 rifle, with a $200 scope. First gun value: $1,900 - Owner said "I could barely" do $1,000 Second gun value: $950 - Owner said $500 and that's a "deal" to me. Pathetic. Sold him the rifle for 500 as a farewell gift. I have bought three guns from here over the last couple years with my grandpa, all were awesome condition and the younger guy working is a blast. But after the condescending, rotten, low-ball swindle attempt, the guy running it can pack sand.

T&B pawn and gun has a lot of useful things. The only negative things is how much they give you when pawning an item, they undercut the buy and rip you off in the sale. They don't like to work with you and act with that know it all attitude. And lastly they sell items at ridiculous prices. They buy at a very low price not giving you anything near what you bought the item for then Jace the price so high that there used price is what you can get it for new elsewhere. Just very unhappy with the way they run the business.

      Response from the owner

Purchase price is based on the items age, condition, and current used value. Sale price of items is based on age, condition and current used price. A general rule would be priced below current used value price. This is the way most pawn shops do business. 'undercutting the buy and ripping off in the sale' is a bit of an overstatement. The purpose of turning on the lights and unlocking the doors every morning is to make a living. It's Business 101.

Greatest Pawn Shop on the Range. Great service and very nice selection of inventory.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for the positive review. Most people get angry if a transaction doesn't go their way and fire off a bad review as a passive revenge. There's a human tendency to illuminate bad experiences instead of the good one's.

There prices are ridiculous and their not much help if any at all. If you call and ask if they have something or a certain game, they will tell you that you'll just have to go look they dont know. Lazy and worst customer service from any business in town. I usually never leave reviews for places, but it really irritated me this time to the point that I had to. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE! IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD.

      Response from the owner

Going through inventory with a customer over the phone is not possible in a pawn shop. We do not have the option of looking for individual items through a computer. Thus an over the phone inquiry is not possible. A worker would have to go out to that section and look through hundreds of items. Our policy has always been to help as much as we can over the phone. However, we are not a Walmart, Target or Game Stop. As far as our prices, items are researched and priced far below retail depending on age, condition and relevance. The service we offer on our website is 'In store shopping' So, a phone call to a large department store will serve you better than a phone call to a small, local shop.

i was just in there to pay on my pawn. i asked how much i owned them to get catch up. and she said too much for you. i always come here and pawn items. and if i done my math right it was 360$ worth. and i had a 1000$ on me after she said that i only put 120$ down. in mind i'm done doing all Business with them they made me feel like i was poor....

      Response from the owner

If I said that to you it would be because the charges and principle equal more than the value of the item. I did tell you how much the total would be, and you were free to completely pay it off, or not. When a person stops making monthly payments, charges add up to significant amounts. Most people at that point choose to have me forfeit the item, price it and they buy it back at a far cheaper price. I never tell someone that they can't afford something. What I may have said, is that you probably wouldn't WANT to pay that much. If you have a dispute over the payments you did make, all you have to do is say so and we would trace the payments that were made. You made this post on Sunday, October 25th, 2020. When were you 'just in'? Why don't you stop in and we can clear this up right now.

I really did not like the service I received from t&b pawn and gun. I payed off a pawn 22 days early and got treated poorly by the employee. I went back roughly a month later to try and pawn my bow because I needed some money and he refused because I had my bow unstrung like one should when not using it. I tried explaining to him that nylon cord frays when under stress and he refused to understand. He just said it's broken and he cant do business with me. So I cant do business with them. I was going to come back on payday, pickup my bow and spend a couple thousand dollars on guns but now I think I'd rather take my money to a more friendly environment. If I could give them less than a star I would

T&B pawn and gun is the best pawn shop option for people checking pawn shops for good deals on items They have a great supply of firearms, and tools. Last time I visited they had some quality hunting gear. Any pawn shop is going to be limited to areas that people in this region typically purchase. In a mining & logging region like the iron range, we hunt, fish, shoot, turn wrenches, weld, play video games and watch movies in the cold. So those are the majority of the items +electronics. They do get some really quality items in and if you catch them at the right time, you run into an unexpected item, that is priced fairly and wont last long on the shelf. The only negative I've had is a every time I call to see if they have something I have been looking for, I get someone who doesn't know anything about it, what it is or looks like, or if its something on hand. But to be fair when the business is to buy and sell items from a diverse range of items, expertise on all of them takes time.
