      Most inept title company I have ever dealt with in 46 years and $2 Billion in transactions. Run don't walk from them.

      This is the most inept title company I have ever worked with. I closed on my house on October 29, 2019 and the agent, Christine Leask, didn't file the deed with the court house until December 6th. Then I found out that they provided the wrong legal description on the deed and to the surveyors so the county would not transfer the deed to me. In addition, because of their mistake, I paid for more property than I actually got. Thank goodness for title insurance. Once we got the deed straightened out--no thanks to them--I had to hire an attorney. I re-signed all the closing documents on March 9th. The title agent promised to file with the court house that day but didn't. She did not file it until March 20th, after my attorney contacted the company. I needed to file for construction permits but couldn't because the house has yet to be put in my name. It has cost me 6 months time, legal fees, and a lot of frustration! Totally inept. I had to give them one star in order to post, but would have liked a negative star option. Don't use them!
