      Never have I ever encountered a bank that makes it so difficult to put money IN to the bank. It took me going to three locations to find an ATM that accepts deposits and the third one was in a really sketchy part of town holy buckets. Yo it’s 2022! Upgrade! Seriously

      NOT ONE PERSON TO ANSWER THE PHONE!! And none of the other branches will help me. I have been a customer for over 40 years... but as soon as they sold it, customer care went down the toilet.

      Worst customer service, manager ( Kathy K.) have the worst Attitude and zero leader ship not sure how she was appointed to be a manager. She is not empowered to solve simple check-cashing issues. Centrerstate Bank is wanna be bank. That’s one of the reasons why I close my account small bank they can only handle small transactions I recommend if you are serious business person and you want to deal with a real bank look for other big bank names.

      I call to try to exchange Quarter dollars and when i got to the bank. They denied me service. Very disrespectful

      I saw this on the job posting, nevermind haha OTHER POSITIONS: South State Bank reserves the exclusive right to transfer an employee, without their consent or advance notice, from their current position to any other position within the same branch or a different branch.

      After the change tellers take forever, inside lobby is a mess, and if your card doesn't work on weekends, good luck. The numbers on the card don't work weekends either. I recommend any other bank other than this!

      Went thru the drive through at about 2 pm on 5/12/2020 talked to Kathy because I had an issue with my debit card and asked by Kathy what was happening and I told her and asked for my card to be canceled and issue another one .She came back and told me there would be a $5.00 charge I said it was fine .Then she came back and said we can't give you another because this is working I told her is giving a problem at Public supermarket mind you I'm 65 yrs old and getting stressed out she's changing the story at every turn .Last but not less she tells me to come back around again into the business lane that by then had 8 cars waiting .I told her this wasn't acceptable and Please return my ID and card and I called the corp office and spoke to Jennifer which reached out to that branch to see what happened and came back 15 minutes later that she couldn't reach anyone there because they wouldn't pickup the phone.She canceled my card and issued another .Thats all I wanted to begin with .I would never recommend this bank to anyone and as soon as I can change banks I will .All thanks to Kathy .Maury Herrera Sr
