      Southern Title was a clear choice when I called for quotes on closing, this was the only company that mentioned that the buyer could select the Title Company of choice. They were very transparent with the closing costs, the availability of title insurance and what all of that means! They were very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions.

      By far the worst closing I have had. I can only imagine how a 1st time homeowner would feel if their closing was anything like mine. I don't recommend them to anyone until they make some improvements to their follow through, understanding of closing requirements, professionalism. Examples: needing buyer/seller to come back more than once because signatures in wrong place or not accurate, closing attorney didn't even sit down during my closing literally stood over me and handed me docs to sign, seller came on another day to sign, never received keys had to get them from seller realtor along with a deposit check, staff wearing jeans in office (to me its unprofessional for such a serious life event for many), haven't received copies of everything signed during closing still waiting on email. Just overall poor experience it def diminished my accomplishment of buying a home.

Most of our customers like our relaxed style and flexibility and we are sorry that we did not meet your expectations. While we strive to be 100% error free during the closing process, sometimes missed signatures do happen and we work every day to make sure that those errors are caught. Documents can take anywhere from one to two weeks to be received from the specific parish recording department.
