This company is the WORST company ever. They are incompetent and money grabbers. I asked them to draw a site plan and they were forcing me to buy a survey I already have that they did themselves!!! The survey that I have was performed by this very company and they are scammers trying to make me buy another one that was passed along with the purchase of my land. Corbin is terrible as well and a liar. Steer clear and take your business elsewhere. Don’t believe me? Check the better business bureau. The reviews speak for themselves. Terrible company and will give them 0/10 stars if I could.

Take your business elsewhere. For the past nine months or so, Solar has not been appropriately staffed to manage the increased demand. This has greatly affected its responsiveness and return time. One would think that after months and months of a high demand, they would figure out how to respond at the outset, when customers make an inquiry, that even receiving a quote takes 2-3 weeks, or they would have, by this time, hired more people to help grow the business and maintain a good reputation. It's a shame because we've done business with them before and were quite pleased with their work. However, the demand is now too great. Wish them well but our business will be taken elsewhere.

Solar Land Surveying did an incredible job with our survey job. Immediately after making a request, we received confirmation that it was being processed. We received communication about the timeline and the gentleman completing the survey was professional and thorough. We received our completed survey so fast and it was EXACTLY what our pool company needed. The staff at Solar Land Survey were kind and responsive. Yes, survey companies are swamped right now, but everything was perfect for us. Great companies are busy companies, right? I can’t say enough good things about the folks running this company and those completing the work. Overpromised and underdelivered. Ordered the survey in October, and we were told it would be 4-6 weeks. It took 12 weeks. We asked when the final markers would be put down, we were told it'd be a few days, and it ended up taking 3 weeks.

I was so impressed with the service that we received from Solar during our home buying process! They were very clear with us about how backed up they were on scheduling surveys due to both illness and the need to honor scheduled vacations within their company and we knew that our survey would be close to Christmas Day. Our on-site surveyor did an exceptional job marking all the property pins as well as sinking additional needed pins that we didn't request but because it was the correct/professional thing to do! Top notch work! When we touched base with them to find out when we would receive our final reports, they again apologized for their backlog and assured us that they would have reports to us by our closing date. I thanked them for their onsite work, taking care of their staff during the horror-show that has been the last year, and told them that I wished I could give them extra time for completion. They went above and beyond for our family and actually returned our final reports at the end of business that same day. Unbelievably kind and giving! The reports were clear, professional, and easy to read. We cannot recommend this company highly enough. There isn't a single company within the realm of real estate/land development/construction that isn't working beyond capacity in the last 9 months and each of them are doing so with regular staffing shortages. For a business to take care of their employees, turn out exceptional work, and still take the time to care for their customers is a rare, gem indeed! Outside of the dumpster-fire of this last year, I'm certain that their timelines run much tighter however, didn't all of ours? Thank you, Solar Land for taking care of us!

I have no doubt that they probably do a good job. They were very professional and polite over the phone. But I paid for a boundary survey on the 28th of July and on the 16th of September they still had not even scheduled it. I don't know if they need to hire more people or better organize their time, but when you're the wait is 3 weeks and 7 weeks later they still haven't gotten to you, that can throw off a construction timeline pretty severely. Two stars because the people were very polite over the phone.

I needed a survey of 9 acre property and requested a quote on 12/22. On the same day i sent over the Deed and the older property survey I had from the house purchase. I've had to make numerous calls and emails with untimely responses just to get a quote. I was promised a quote the evening of January 4th (Monday). After a few more follow-ups i still had no quote as of Wednesday January 7. I called McClung Surveying on that same Wednesday. They pulled the deed and the survey on their own and had a quote over to me in 2 hours and i have it scheduled for next week. We are trying to put a pool in and these folks put a 2 week delay into the process just to get a quote. I recommend you use another survey company.

Solar Land was professional, timely and attentive to all our survey needs. With this being our first survey, their friendly staff walked us through the process and prepared our survey quickly. I would highly recommend Solar Land!

Terrible experience with them. I highly recommend not paying before the work is done as they will drag their feet wherever possible. After a promise of 15 business days, it is only now being completed after 2 full months (Aug 15 to October 13). I had to call repeatedly to get any sort of status and to get them back out to finish the work. The only good thing I can say is that the surveyors who come out are friendly. Incredibly frustrating experience overall.
