      They are great when you’re depositing money, but try to take “large” amount in cash (your money not a loan) and your treated like a criminal. Seriously. Go to the Edwardsville branch and try it. I’ve had great help and horrible service with them (30 year customer) but have started to move my funds elsewhere because the lack of professionalism and customer service. And please don’t post a reply here about contacting “you” so my issue can be addressed. I’ve had 3 different managers “promise” to address my concerns and then. Nothing. And that is why these ratings. A lack of effective leadership and employee accountability creates this type of customer experience. It is a pain to change all my finances after 30 years but this kind of service is just unacceptable and I’m no longer willing to help from me it. I hope you read this and evaluate and course correct or not. our society todays seems to accept mediocrity and substandard service as a norm so I’m sure you’ll continue to make money on other peoples money even if you are a substandard organization.

      Available to loan funds but once provided service is non-existent. I've paid off my auto loan but never received the title. I called 6 times to request and only answered once as there are always 30 more calls ahead of me. When I did speak with someone they did verify the loan was paid off and then he would send an email to me to confirm the same. Email never received and now I'm trying to call in again. Broken record....

      Tried to closed my account via their extremely rude call center over a year ago. Was told the only way to close my account was via a certified letter. I did so and now a year later they have come up with creative billing line item called "Withdrawal Inactivity Fee" at $5 intervals to steal my money that was in the account as a overpayment when I paid off the note! These people will do everything they can to make your banking experience as terrible as possible and do everything they can to prevent closure of paid off accounts just so they can try and steal money that was never theirs in any form!

      Scott credit union has great and kind staff that helps you figure out what’s going on or get you to what you need. They don’t have all the cost and fees most banks charge. Highly recommend

      Customer service has really went downhill at Scott credit Union. Every time you call there's 30 people in line to get through and no one calls you back.

      Lauren, at the Edwardsville branch was very helpful and courteous to me. I had an issue with a vehicle title that did not get mailed to me by their title company. Lauren took care of it in about 5 minutes and I had the title in hand 2 days later.

      This place for me at least has some really great employees and some not so much, we have all experienced this... their credit card team is very nice and good to work with...

      I’m not too happy with SCU. I called there this morning to see when they would be mailing tax documents out. The person I spoke with had an attitude and it was very obvious in her tone of voice that I was bothering her. She told me they were mailed out a week ago. I asked if I shouldn’t have had it by now and she tartly told me the mail is slower these days. When I asked if I could pick up a copy, or if that was even possible, there was dead silence. So I said, “I guess not”, and she hung up without even saying goodbye! These employees need training in phone mannerisms, or at least this one does! Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Bad way to start the day! Thinking about just changing banks.

      This credit union does not even deserve one star. They are so rude and disrespectful every time I call and try to get information on my auto loan. You can’t pay extra to principal and my interest rate is TERRIBLE. I recently have switched to a much better credit union with over 3% less interest. I can’t believe I’ve ever wasted my time going through SCU. I most definitely do NOT recommend banking through SCU. Do not bank and do not get loans through them! It is a complete waste of time!! Save yourself the trouble & stress!!
