      This is the second time now I've been denied a PAYROLL CHECK to be cashed by river falls rcu. Hudson rcu says that it ILLEGAL and UNPROFESSIONAL. Today the worker boy was rude and an asshole when I tried explaining what HIS COMPANY TOLD ME... this bank doesn't care about anyone's financial needs or wants. They pretend to care and then after a few years of banking with them they act like fools. The Hudson rcu actually gives a shit about their location. Corporate rcu says rf location is falling down hill and will need to make employment changes so hopefully the rude people who think it's cool deny someone their own hard earned money will be fired accordingly. :] so hopefully this location will be a better experience for all :)

      I read some the of previous reviews and was surprised that my wife and myself have always had excellent customer service, even over the phone in dealing with loans and help buying a used car. I must say I am not a fan of some of the phone prompts and the slowness in the process to get to the correct individual to get assisted, but staff has always called back and were good with detail. Often, because of office proximity we run between three locations of River Falls, Hudson and New Richmond and the collaboration with our accounts has been easy. Thanks.

      I never write reviews to begin with, but I have never come across such poor customer service in my entire life. Not only are most of the employees rude but condescending as well. I've tried getting help multiple times and they would either revert me back to calling customer services or have me come back inside the building. I went there for the final time hoping for some solution to arise. I waited in the lobby for them to call me in and when they do I'm still waiting in the office for a good 10 min. while a worker is helping another employee with her own personal account right in front of me!! Very unprofessional. When they finally do help me they sound very annoyed that I'm there in the first place like I'm waisting there time. When I closed my account they gave me the stink eye instead of asking what they can do better or improve on for the future. Overall, worst place to bank and would not be my first recommendation to someone whose looking for the best option.

      If you are thinking about opening a new bank account and you are an American I say go ahead, it will be great. But, if you are an immigrant like me this is not the bank for you. They are going to make you feel looked down at it. I have been planning to make a trip with my family and needed a document for passport to be notarized, I brought the paperwork over to the same bank I have been banking for 4 years now and they refused to notarize because "they didn't feel comfortable". Not feeling comfortable is a very vague statement I thought. I then called the bank headquarters and they said I had the right to a translator to translate de document and then the bank tellers could actually make a more knowledgeable decision about notarizing the document or not. I received a phone call from the bank the following morning in which they told me not to bother to stop by the bank because regardless of the document being translated or not they were set on "not feeling comfortable to notarize the paper". Well, I called the headquarters again and they backed up the bank notaries instead of me, a valuable 4 year customer. What happened here is that the bank refused to even understand the piece of paper, which was a pretty simple one. How can you make a decision based on unknow? Wouldn't a good bank try to look further in? If you already decided "not to feel comfortable" with me everything else is pointless then. The River Falls RCU branch "doesn't feel comfortable" with my immigrant status, I know that the RCU bank as a whole "doesn't feel comfortable" to treat me with the same rights as of an American customer. So, for you fellow not American in River Falls stay away from RCU. They will look down on you. Now, I feel COMFORTABLE to say that I am switching banks soon. My family and I are moving to a bank that is more cultured and open minded to all different types of people.

      For some reason I have made the mistake of using large corporate banks most of my life. My wife and I last banked at a place that rhymes with Dells Bargo. We left for some of the shady stuff they were doing to their customer. Fast forward to us going to RCU. I have never had a better experience with a banking/credit union. THese guys are super friendly and really go above and beyond to give every member a good experience.

      I personally think that RCU is the most worthless bank not only in river falls wi but wherever they r located.the staff r all ignorant and just plain lazy.if I could close my stupid account there I would they say I must leave 5 bucks in there well they can keep the five bucks and piss on them.they should shut their doors for good
