      Rarely do I ever do reviews for companies . I’ll leave one today . I walked into the establishment with 3 checks from the state of illinois with my name and address on them with my state id . Immediately after seeing my check the woman refused to cash them because I was not registered. I’ve been to several currency exchanges in illinois and never went through this . She also stated because I signed them prior to arrival they couldn’t help me either . That’s fine but the disgust in this woman’s face when I came into the door is why I’m writing this review. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place at all. The attitude and mannerisms of this woman was one of a person who hates their job and I only came here because I didn’t want to wait until Friday to receive cash through my bank . I didn’t go back in forth with her because clearly working there is hell for her so she takes it out on customers . Good luck to those who go here only if you must and if you’re in a hurry but no stars poor customer service . Stay away if you’re a person of color

Unfortunately, we do require checks being presented by first-time customers remain unsigned until the approval process is completed. This, however, does not excuse the way the situation was handled.       This was once an excellent in-town business to pay bills (if you wanted to forego internet payments), cash checks and more. Ron, the previous Manager, and his assistants were always friendly and welcoming; they always greeted you with a smile and efficient service. Sadly, those days are gone along with the staff, replaced by [often] surly Hispanic women with poor, discourteous attitudes. Getting a roll of quarters use to be a simple exchange. Today, you're charged a 25 cent fee for the transaction (seriously?). I've stopped using this locale unless absolutely necessary as a result. Heads up for current management: service with a smile--and kindness--are the rules when dealing with the public, NOT exceptions. Your business is putrid; the stench, most foul.
