I have purchased 2 vehicles through this company in the last 4 years. I am beyond satisfied with the results of doing business with them. Yes. We did have a higher interest rate than other companies but they do offer a refinance option to those who make payments on time. I believe that if you stay in contact with them and communicate if you are struggling they will work with you. I give 5 stars to Reliable auto for their customer service as well!! Happy customer from Northern California

      Response from the owner

Thank you for the great rating. We appreciate the good words and look forward to continuing to work with you.

When I first started working with reliable credit they were amazing super friendly customer service and very helpful. I recently financed a car through them and within 90 days the cars motor blew up. Now as a single mom of 2 I cannot afford to pay for a vehicle that is not working. It’s not their fault the car blew and I definitely was not blaming them but I did have to surrender the car. I was informed I might not be able to surrender the vehicle because the vehicle was not running. I’m now in the process of bankruptcy due to other life situations that have effected me financially. I got a call from reliable yesterday asking where the car was I told them where it was and apologized and explained I was frustrated with the dealer as I only had the car for 90 days. The man responded with yeah and I’m frustrated that we gave you the money then hung up before I could say anything. I’m already embarrassed enough to have to go through bankruptcy I didn’t need him to embarrass me more. Rude and uncalled for.

Hi Skye - I am sorry you were treated rudely. I want to make sure this is addressed with our team as that sort of treatment is unacceptable. Could you please contact me at marketing @ reliablecredit.com so I can follow up?

I highly suggest you find a different financial company to work with. Not only are the interested super high, the financial officers are highly rude and disrespectful, especially the manager Fred. They use means of intimidation. I was late two weeks on my car payment because my unemployment had been frozen due to all the investigations that EDD is conducting. When I finally did get my EDD money they had reposed the vehicle the early morning off. Please, please whatever you do, do not go through this company. They're only professional to get you to sign and then they will harrased you like there is no tomorrow. Plus like I said the interest are extremely high. They will not work with you, they don't care, specially in times of crisis, I mean seriously we're in the middle of a pandemic. Seriously if you're in desperate need of a vehicle, keep looking, you will find someone else that won't charge you super high interest rates that will be more professional and willing to work with you. Don't make the same mistake I made.

I have financed 2 vehicles through Reliable Credit, the 1st being at 30% interest (even though credit monitoring services informed me it was 31.99% - when 30% was the maximum legal limit) and the 2nd vehicle a couple of years later at 24%. I had paid off car 1 and was looking into getting vehicle 2 when I had my first and only interaction with someone from this company; I had to print out bank statements verifying that I had an income as well as provide pay stubs and SSN. This was an absurd amount of information to relinquish to open a 2nd account - my bank statement with spending habits. It felt as though they grew distrustful of me because I made the extra effort to pay off the first vehicle 6 months early. Mind you, I was enrolled in auto-pay for almost the entire duration of the loan and never missed a payment. I made the extra effort to pay off car 2 within the first year and have not looked back. This company tells you up front that they are a high interest lender, which is a necessary evil if you've ever defaulted on student loans or made poor financial decisions in the past. My advice to anyone paying a ridiculous interest rate with Reliable Credit is to shop around a bit and try to refinance with a different company at a lower interest rate. If you have a personal loan through them, there are credit cards that offer 0% interest for XX amount of months when you transfer a balance. Auto loan - try to make an extra payment; not just to get ahead but to not fall behind, either.

They approved me with not so good credit and I was able to purchase my first vehicle, a Chevy Tahoe. Now I'm about to sell it and pay off the loan and I'm very grateful to have worked with a company that gave me the opportunity to build my credit. I was faithful with my payments every month and they said if I ever need to work with them again to give them a call. Interest rates are high but it's a lender that takes a risk as well with people that have bad credit ! Thanks reliable credit .

I have been with reliable credit for about two years. They were willing to work with me on anything and work with me on my monthly payment in the past. However during the Covid pandemic I didnt qualify for unemployment(they were notified about this), I was behind two months of rent(which I had proper paperwork) They transferred me to a VERY RUDE loan officer named FRED .He didnt show any compassion and said he was going to repossess my car if I didnt pay within a couple weeks(isnt true because i just paid the late fee if I was late, and it was never a problem) I offered all the proper proof, and he just didnt care. During a pandemic when you have no control over money that you earn there should be some kind of leeway. Not for him. I will be calling whoever is above him and I hope they recorded my conversation because it was uncalled for and very unprofessional. They are usually accommodating and had no problem with them til now. For COVID there needs to be protection and PROFESSIONAL help for those who are struggling to make their car payent.

When I went to cash the check they wrote, US Bank said there was no money in the account. The guy on the phone assured me they had money in the account. Event hough it was Friday on a holiday weekend, he just told me to go to a different branch. I finally found a branch who cashed the check but the guy at Reliable didn't even call me the next week to see if I was taken care of. It was weird. Then when I asked if they could extend my first pay payment until after the holiday because I lost my job they basically didn't care and wouldn't even consider it. They were curt, rude and don't care about the customer. Now I have to deal with these drift wood beings for 4 years. Does Trump own this company?

Been with this finance company for a few years now and they are all very friendly and very helpful. Don't worry about the negative reviews people leave about the company, that's just from the small group of people who are either always late on payments, miss payments entirely and generally just cant afford much of anything. Sorry you're broke and couldn't afford your car payments but that's not from a result of the company just poor lifestyle choices on the consumers end. I'd finance through them again!
