      This company really was a shining star a few years ago. Now it is loosing its true north and missing it. Do not use this CU for any kind of business transactions. I recommend frost bank. In fact soon I’ll be moving personal over as well as they RBFCO is absolutely not business friendly.

      Really disappointed to see RBFCU now charging a fee to deposit coins. Maybe this has been going on for a while and I just don’t do it often. But guess you don’t want my money in your bank if you now want to charge me to put it there.

      Tried to do a new vehicle loan. Got a text saying someone was going to contact me with the terms. Fast forward 2 days and nothing. I called to try to speak with someone and sat on hold for 30min before I lost my patience and hung up. If you can’t get people to answer the phone, how can I expect you to do a good job managing my money and a loan?

      Used RBFCU for 20+ years. They have changed and not for the better. They are trying to be like the big banks that nickle and dime you. Made one mistake and picked the wrong account to transfer from, and hit me with a $24 NSF charge. Adamant that they can't waive a one off fee.

      I am new to San Antonio and decided to go with RBFCU. This was the worst mistake in choosing a credit union. If you are looking for a financial institution please do not go with RBFCU. I have been on the phone multiple times for hours to get a person. I have tried to go into a branch but it is even worse. It's been 45 days and I have already close my account and went to Navy Federal Credit Union. Save yourself time and go somewhere that provides quality service.

      After being a loyal customer for more than 10 years, having my business account with them with daily deposits from the business, and they could not approved a business loan or personal loan for me. Their terms are extremely complicated, they don't make things easy, they don't support small businesses at all. Why do I need to keep taking my business to them? Not anymore I transfered all my accounts, personal & business to Austin Telco, they are amazing, without any prior history with them, they already approved the 2 loans I was denied at RBFCU.

      They got too big, and they lost it. I've Banked Here for over 30 years, And to be honest it's sad to see the direction that they have gone. The last straw for me was they got rid of the vehicle buyers checks. I've had over 20 loans from them but now they have made it practically impossible to buy a car outside of one of their local dealerships. In addition, the hold times if you need to call them are ridiculous no matter what time of day.

      I'm closing my accounts, my father in laws accounts. Why count my coins if you're telling I have to deposit it in a coin counter that someone is using and charges me 5%. I work hard for my money and it's bad enough during the pandemic and your institution wants to nickel and dime everyone. You count all my money then say you can't deposit and have to deposit it in your coin counter. You make zero sense. You should have not even counted my coins in first place. I'm on my way to pick up my wife to close our accounts with my father in law. We're done with greedy financial institutions.

      I am so disappointed and disgruntled by the service I received today from RBFCU. Because I saw fraudulent fraudulent activity on my account I called into member services to review. Understandably I have to wait for the transaction to clear to dispute I request a replacement card and they advised I wouldn’t receive until Tuesday of next week. I asked if they rush as a courtesy due to the hardship the pandemic has presented. I’m a single mother and I rely on my bank card for bills and basically needs. nonetheless they advised it will be a $35 fee and if I want to avoid I could keep the card active or come into the bank to withdraw funds. I’m shocked that they would recommend I come in to the bank during a time where the city has issued a mandate for shelter in place. Not only have I been a loyal member for years I also work for one of the top places in the city and when I think about all of the different things we’ve done for our customers to really make sure that they are taken care of I am appalled at the bare minimum rbfcu has done. Shame on you RBFCU! Might be time to consider other options.
