I have had an ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE with Priority National- Tampa. The closing paper work had multiple errors the biggest one being the incorrect folio # recorded on the deed. This error was brought to our attention November 2021- it is now June 2022 & the corrective paper work has still not been filed. While Haley is kind and responsive there has been absolutely no urgency. I am exhausted from going back and forth with the county, the mortgage company, the attorney and everyone at #PriorityNationalTitle . My dad suddenly passed away a couple weeks after selling the house & I cannot even grieve my father or be excited about our new home. The property taxes are all messed up- homestead exemptions- green belts etc. I absolutely do not recommend Priority National Title Services. They do not care- they have no urgency and do not pay attention to detail. If I could give ZERO STARS I would have.

I hired Priority title in 2020 and in 2021 an issue arose from HUD stating that I owed $12,000+ on the property I sold due to a second lien. I advised Priority that I did not have a second lien on the home. The initial lender sold the mortgage to a second lender in September of 2018. The original lender did have a second lien/forebearance backed by HUD during hurricane Irma that was paid in full in August 2018 prior to the sale to the second lender. Both lenders sent me statements stating that the property did not have a second lien attached and HUD sent a letter that indeed the $12,000+ had been paid in 2018 (filing error?). Instead of believing me and working with me to track down what had occured they did nothing except threaten me litigation straight out of the gate. They did no research to try to resolve the issue, in fact they wanted me to sign a payment plan to pay the money back. #1- I did not owe the money #2- don't we get title insurance so they insure us that they have searched the title? Why did they not find the issue? I was granted a mortgage release. After all was said and done and I provided proof that I did not owe the money their attorney Frank Miranda still is aggressively persuing me. I did not attend court for this as I thought it was being dismissed due to the fact that I had proven that I did not owe any money Instead of the attorney doing the ethical and morally correct thing and advising the judge to dismiss that the monies were not owed by me. He took the judgement in his behalf due to me not attending. Currently he has placed a lien on my p0ersonal checking account and has frozen my access to my personal monies. I have not worked in months and my family sent me money to pay my mortgage which I cannot access. SO THERE IS A LIEN ON MY PERSONAL ACCOUNT FOR MONIES I NEVER OWED AND FOR YOUR ATTONEY FEES WHICH ARE NOT MY ISSUE BECAUSE YOU DID NOT DO YOUR JOB!!! I HAVE REPORTED THIS TO CFO FOR STATE OF FLORIDA , BAR ASSOCIATION, CONSUMER AFFAIRS, BBB AND BAY NEWS 9 - SHAME ON YOU !! Corporate greed, lack of integrity, and failure to perform a job you were paid to do.

Kelsey Wiley with Priority National Title, is hands down the best at what she does! Not only does she help with the title work, but she also works with Realtors during their open house! She is there to help set up and answer any questions. She takes her time with you going through everything to ensure that at closing, there will be no issues!! Kelsey is extremely reliable and makes herself available on nights and weekends, and even offers mobile closings as an extra convenience. I highly recommend her and the rest of the staff with Priority National title Service!!

      Response from the owner

Thank you so much for sharing this awesome message!!! We are blessed to have Kelsey Wiley leading our company. Please let us know if we can do absolutely anything to assist in the near future.

Words cannot begin to describe my positive experience with PNTS. Everyone I had the pleasure of working with made the entire process easy, and answered any and all questions when needed! I recently closed this weekend, by the graces of Kelsey. I cannot stress enough the professionalism she brought to the deal. A day/night that will be remembered for the rest of my life, thank you for restoring my faith in humanity! Truly a great person. I’ll see you all on my next purchase in the future! Thanks again so much.

Closed my house with them in 2019 and they made a mistake on my Deed. Had to hire an attorney and they refused to reimburse the cost for their mistakes. BUYER/SELLER BEWARE. The title company prepared the Deed on behalf of the lawyer. I recommend going through a real estate attorney to do the closing and not this company. I would give a zero star if I could.

      Response from the owner

Thank you so much for reaching out. Our mission is to always work with clients to find resolution to their real estate decisions. We are a humble business making every effort to create a positive impact on our communities. You are a valuable piece to our larger business friendships! -Ken Martin-

The Tampa/Brandon office lacks communication and working in a timely manner. I had a file that closed and it has been 10days with no HUD Statement sent so I can close my file. I have multiple unanswered emails from Tyler and Kelsey. As a Florida realtor of 15 years I understand the process and this is totally unacceptable for not replying to an agents email in request for the HUD. I had to call Corp to get a response. ***Update*** I received a call and had a great conversation with Ken one of the owners at Priority National Title Service about this transaction. He did his best to listen and clear things up, even though he cannot change the actions of the team with the communications on this deal, He assured me this is not typically how they do business. He sounds like a sincere guy who cares about the relationships he has in this business. With that being said I would be open to have another deal with Priority National Title Services to change my stance. Thank you

      Response from the owner

Thank you so much George for taking a moment to discuss your thoughts. You are the definition of true professional. I feel like we have developed a strong business friendship through the process. Growing and learning is a key to being a successful business owner whether as a realtor, lender and/or title agent. Communication is a key to every profession. A simple phone call could have eliminated any issues. Lesson learned for our internal team. As I discussed this with the team, we are excited to work together again in the coming weeks ahead. Warmest Regards, -Ken Martin-
