Payday Money Centers- Escondido W Mission Ave, Escondido

By far the worst place to try and get a loan. Was there almost 2 hrs. I am disabled veteran just out of the military and provided 100% documentation that they required but since I have multiple addresses they used that as an excuse to not provide a loan. They also asked me to provide extra information when I arrived(after talking on the phone with the service rep to make sure I had all documents) that I did not bring with me. I received a call from the VP just to tell me they cannot provide the loan. They also tried to say my VA benefits letter was not real. I will be reporting this company to the bbb. Total waste of time and gas ⛽ 😒

They do not have the capability to accept payments via card or ach withdrawal. You have to go into the store and make payments. Also they do not help veterans or people with disability income. They require a full arsenal of personal information such as proof of income, 4 relatives and friends, your landlords phone number, your rental agreements( original not a copy), bank statements, a deposit slip from your bank ( go into your bank and get one not a pdf form), award letters( they still question award letters even though the government provides it) , drivers license ( they won't accept it fo your address is not updated) two utility bills with an address in Escondido ( if you live in Oceanside they will not accept. Too far for them to collect. Also the staff not very knowledgeable on the process so you might be there a couple hrs and after everything gets verified in 2 the owner will call you to let you know they wasted your time and to go down the street to payday advance who also has one star rating.

Everyone is very polite and professional every time I’m their. Sergio, Jose , Abby & Itzel great customer service please continue to do a great job and would definitely recommend.

Edited: I was pretty irritated when I came in because I had 3 small checks all under $40 and after cashing many checks at this location and the one in San Diego for much higher amounts, the woman said I hadn't been there in 6 months and I could do some kind of process where they keep my checks and I come back in several days to pick up the money. It was like a total of $50 and her coworker said, I'm sure it will be fine considering her check history. She still would not do it. Lame. I thought that was the whole point in going there repeatedly. The manager was attached for an hour and I didn't have time to sit and wait for him. DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE ‐‐---------‐ Always able to verify and cash my checks quickly and easily. They also charge less than competitors.

If you ever need a loan, money order, or a check cashed, make sure you to Gaby. Honestly one of the friendliest persons I’ve ever met! She obviously knows what she’s doing and always gives the best customer service. I highly recommend this place, and for whatever reason you do step in, Gaby is the one you want to ask for!

Abigail is amazing and deserves a promotion she wowed me with her stellar customer service and amazing smile. I will be there every payday!

Local businesses can take advantage of the loan options available there are many available. I strongly recommend their services, especially April and Silvia very professional as well as resourceful. Go ask for them!

I cash my checks once in a while and use the western union services as well ..Gaby, Jose, April and Sergio always welcome you with a smile they all have great customer service. 👌
