      My husband and I have been with this credit union for the past few years. We both recommend going elsewhere for banking. Multiple times they have shut down our card while we are on vacation even after we have notified them that we are traveling and we are stuck on the phone for hours trying to get resolved. Also their online banking is very unreliable..their system is shut down and not working frequently. Go somewhere else if you want a good bank and good customer service. I would give them zero stars if I could.

      Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had banking. Lied to me about money owed then charged me late fees after I was told I didn’t owe the money In response to the owner, no my issues have not been resolved. I’ve now had the same conversation with 6 different employees and all of them just say “yeah that’s not my department so we will call you back.” Now I’m trying to pay a bill your employees told me “not to worry about” and now you are making me jump through multiple hoops to pay this bill so I continue to rack up late fees. What kind of bank can’t take a debit card as a payment in 2022. Worst possible banking experience I could have had. If someday I can finally confide out your archaic payment system I will be transferring my loan to another bank and highly suggest anyone looking for a loan to shop elsewhere.

      Awesome place to bank! They offer great personalized service, and their loan and savings rates are hard to beat. You won't find a better credit union anywhere in Oregon.

      I needed to connect OSCU with my other bank so a hold could be released on transferred funds. The first time we tried to call, my representative and I were disconnected by OSCU after a 7-minute hold time. The second time, after another 7-minute hold time, the representative refused to verify me as a third party was on the line who didn't have a direct line and, as such, it was impossible for me to verify funds. In addition, interest rates are often higher than other credit unions.

      A young man named Andrew helped me and my friend earlier today, and he knew exactly what we had to do. He re calculated a lot of numbers for us and was such a big help.       I never write reviews but I have been so unhappy with my experience at Oregon State Credit Union that I feel compelled to write one. I had fraud charges on my account and it was handled extremely poorly. I talked with seven different people and couldn't get any straight answers. I would leave messages and receive no calls back. I was under the impression that the claim had been started, but found out days later it never had been. If I wouldn't have been so proactive about calling and trying to get some answers, I don't think I ever would've been reimbursed for the charges. I am now still waiting for my new debit card to arrive in the mail, which I ordered nearly two weeks ago. Having fraud happen on your account is already very scary and stressful. To then feel like your bank is unable to provide the support you need to remedy the situation makes things so much worse. I will be changing banks--this has been too much and, unfortunately, I've lost my trust in Oregon State Credit Union.

      Horrible experience with Oregon state credit union refusing to accept my insurance for my new auto loan and horrible customer service over the phone. Also lied to me about an interest rate when I would qualify for much better. I’ll be taking my business to central Willamette as soon as I can.

      I used to think that this credit union was a great place to do my banking needs and such. Their customer service used to be great. I have been a customer of theirs for years. I even went back after I closed my account many years later. They used to be real quick and most helpful, not anymore. I have had the worst time getting personal loans lately. I used to get personal loans from them the same day, in fact in a couple hours. Not no more. I would advise against getting involved with this financial institution. If you like long waits and not getting what you need done on time. I would recommend this place. I will be closing my account here soon again and going to first credit union where I know people who bank through them and have had no problems.

      horrible customer service over the phone both english and spanish line. the 2 women we spoke to were very rude and discriminatory the way they spoke to us and did not want to help or listen so we ended up hanging up and going into the branch in west salem where they quickly took care of us and were nice about it.

      Professional courteous and friendly. I was impressed with how efficient and kind the staff were. There were a few sketchy people coming in and I'm wondering if they wrote the negative reviews. I wish I had nearly as friendly service where I live.
