Full Send Filosophy1Super nice staff but unfortunately having a loan with them is highly inconvenient. If you don't send in a check or the check gets lost in the mail and you attempt to use the online system to make a payment in a timely manner good luck. The online system rivals the worst online systems I've ever seen with a convoluted maze that will resort with locking you out of your account. You're than forced to make a payment + $15 over the phone. After spending over an hour with the online system and then having to call I think I should send in an invoice for my labor I had into trying to make this payment.

Mike Kelley1I was visiting Corvallis and need cash. I used the ATM, but needed to break a twenty, so stepped inside. I was informed I needed an account to make change. Really? Seems like pretty basic banking transaction. Do mobs of people throng to their out of the way location to make change? Pretty sad state of affairs. If you’re thinking of opening an account with them, I’d consider this example of their skewed concept of service first. Funny thing is I had account with them decades ago when actually lived in Corvallis.

A1Ending shared banking through the co-op was a horrible business decision. The customer service wait times have been ridiculous even before the pandemic. As a customer for 16 years, I’ve started shopping around for other banks and plan on leaving OSU CU. I truly loved banking with OSU CU in the beginning, but it’s been consistently terrible these past few years.

We still have several ways for credit union members to use our services, such as online and mobile banking services, mobile check deposit, person-to-person payment, account-to-account payment, checking your account balances, making transfers and more. Denber 555I've had nothing but good experiences when working face to face with the staff. Far better than anything via the phone which may or may not be at this branch. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm surprised at the negative reviews I've read. I've had nothing but positive interaction.

Trenten Dukes1Was approved on a small personal loan setup time Friday nov 27th to sign for and pick up cash. Was told was only closed on Thursday TOLD OPEN FRIDAY. Tickets out of state and plans to meet the car seller were made long prior and I am unable to refund my tickets!!! Yall cost me $540 because you lied about being open. Supposed to board at 3:30am but now I’m not. Edit: they contacted me asking to take this review down because it reflects poorly yet ignored my question altogether 😂

Jim HARRIS1I pay early every month, but they charge late fees and claim no payment. My bank shows they have collected my payments!!! No help calling. Big scam!!!!!

Alexandra Reveles1My partner and I were looking at a very specific used car to buy for his work and the dealership uses OSCU for their financing, so we went to them to apply for a loan. We went through the application process, including the credit inquiries, which was pretty smooth and painless, but were ultimately denied the loan due to the age and mileage on the car. We were never asked about the car AT ALL during the application process. We're really upset about having hard inquiries on both of our credits now for no reason. Hopefully they improve their process and ask about car information BEFORE doing credit inquiries in the future for folks. We will NOT be returning for any services in the future and I would not recommend them to others.

BNW1Whatever you do, do not get an auto loan through this bank. Predatory lending at it’s best. After over a year of being set up on auto pay, we get one call notifying us that we are past due on our payments and owe 500$. We verified that we have paid every single month on-time. The reason they provided was that they didn’t have insurance on file for our vehicle, even though I verified with our insurance company it’s been sent several times.. they will not refund us. Our credit now has a hit (we didn’t even find out from them- we found out via Credit Karma and we also discovered no emails, letters, calls to our primary phone on file, etc were made in an attempt to reach us). We’ve been calling asking if they’ve received the insurance verification but every single time they have said that “that department has left for the day”, despite calling multiple times at different times throughout the day. This bank is an utter and complete scam. This is predatory lending at it’s best. And we are looking at getting our loan switched ASAP. It was no surprise to see other comments of this same thing happening to multiple people as well. I do not typically post things like this, but others need to be aware of this and I hope that no one has the same misfortune we are having to deal with.

bassmaster1357906661Was given this loan through a car dealership. Bar none the worst financing company I have ever had to go through. They where late on giving me details, when calling i was on hold not 1 not 2 but 4.5 hours.

Dick Sapp1The Clerk was giving me a tough time, asking for different ID's, then said he didn't recognize me because in my photo on file I had a mustache. He wanted me to explain why I no longer have a mustache. Ever heard of shaving? lolol this branch is a joke, and the other ones are only marginally better. Get over this COVID stuff, please! It's a lie! I am sure Oregon State (No longer University) Federal is making lots more money with fewer people working and customers waiting longer in line! Good for OSF! Thank God I am ditching the US dollar and moving to crypto. Good day to you!
