My experience with OneMain Financials Personal Loan application and processing was nothing but perfect! Isaac was always available for my questions, and had fantastic insight to what the loan would do to my credit score. It wasn't about settling a loan with me, it was about making sure this was the right option for my goals. OneMain Financials process is SO easy and the turn-around was fast as well. I never give a review at all, but today I felt like I had too. Been with OneMain for about 2 years I had bad credit, they call me to ask if I wanted more money I declined, but I thought about it because I need to pay some bills that are behind. I call them back to see where I stand, so I did and she comes back and said I need collateral I didn’t need it before and had bad credit my credit now is fair enough to get approved!are you kidding me,I’m so disappointed with them ,and to tell me sorry I can’t do anything wow and just hung up not cool at all. And I have direct deposit with them to top it off.

Very misleading pulled my credit three times, told me i was approved twice and after a week of calling back not being called, back and forth told me since they felt it was my last chance NO. Mind you it would have been a fully secured collateral loan. Kept talking to me about a car i was financing seems like they want to find a way to keep you stuck.

The interest rates are high, but they gave me a personal loan when no one else would. Because of the high interest rate, I make additional payments to the principal every two weeks. The representatives that have processed these extra payments have very professional and courteous. The transactions take about 2 minutes. No penalties for paying off early either. They got the money to me in two days with minimal paperwork and the staff seemed knowledgeable. They have treated me fairly.

I have had an account for a few years and have always had auto pay I had to defer one payment and somehow every month they say I am behind on my payments. You take the payment on the 1st of every month, I would never deal with them again.

Definitely nice, they really aren't that bad. Straight forward system. Automatic payments every month. Whatever you paid ahead is applied to the next month's balance though. Which is cool. You can suspend your autopay if you've paid ahead already. High interest rate. I feel as though my history of on time payments should allow me to refinance without reborrowing and with a lower interest rate. But sigh.

Paid off a loan but changed jobs to a 1099 position so they are unable to verify my income and grant me a new loan. Not cool, I paid off loan, was never late, paid over 1000 dollars in interest and made up fees but cant get another loan. No customer loyalty or anything. Go anywhere but here!

I always do honest reviews, i went to this place to get a 1500 loan to help with moving expenses. I know i dont have much credit history thus i dont have great credit. I made the decision years ago i wouldnt get credit cards or loans unless i absolutely needed them and would be able to pay back with in a few months. That being said i came here to get a small loan. Meet james and he seem like a cool guy. I explain to him i only want a 1500 loan. I make over 32k a year and even if i had horrible credit i should be approved easily. Online i got approved for the amount i wanted so i went into the store to get everything situated. Things started to get weird when james started asking for additional information that wasnt in the email. I thought this was weird but i got the information, he keep talling about he got me and i didnt understand what he meant by that. I left work early to complete the transaction and once i got there he met me at the door with a camera. I am like what is this for he was like we are going to take pictures of your car, i was able to get you a 6000 loan and all we have to do is put your car up for collateral. At this point i decided i didnt trust james and wasnt going to do any business with him. I specifically told him i needed a small loan to help with moving expenses. At this point i decided i wanted to see how dum james thought i was. I asked him about the rate on the 6000 dollar loan i never ask for and his answers was, i got you a low rate, lower than your current lender. So i had to ask again what is the rate he said 18% with a unsure look. I said how much would i pay monthy he said 200 dollars. At this point i was annoyed and disappointed i left work early for this man to try to scam me. 1. my current lender rate is under 18% 2. My current payment is under 200 dollars. Why would i change lenders, have a higher interest rate, a higher monthly payment just to get a little help to move from one house to another house. I felt like james was going for a sale than trying to work to fit my needs. This is my true story i do not recommend this place. I will try another branch and will have another review of that branch, if i have the same issue then we will know that this is how onemain financial conducts business and not just one employee.

Friendly, professional and very helpful. They worked hard to develop offers that met my needs. Definitely will be a repeat customer if the need arises.
