      Be extremely careful giving them your bank account numbers for automatic withdrawals of payments. One of the employees at this branch executed a fraudulent debit of my account for over $500.

      Just want to share that this location is very unprofessional. I paid a loan off early and was given the run around for a $200 refund. First I was told I would be given a call to pick the refund up, then I was told it had to be mailed. After not receiving it in the mail I was told it was in the office (supposedly left on someone's desk). I then had to make that third trip to pick up my refund check. Everyone in the office is pointing the finger at an employee that is new. We talked to a supervisor the first time the issue arose so it had nothing to do with a new employee and everything to do with horrible customer service. Everyone have different experiences and that is understood. Please read the reviews to see how people have been treated before using this office.

      Most exasperating, unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. The young man with whom I had to deal (his last name is Wilson) wasn’t conversant with his company’s closing procedures and was extraordinarily rude to me (an elderly widow). When I stopped him at one point, for example, to ask to have one item in the paperwork explained to me more thoroughly, he kept insisting “Oh, don’t worry about it, it doesn’t have anything to do with you. That’s just for us”, although it was worded in such a way a blind dog could’ve seen it was clearly for me (it was the section itemizing precisely which computers/electronic devices could be used in tandem with the company’s system). I’m in the habit of going over every item in my closing paperwork , and Mr. Wilson very plainly was irritated with me. Eventually our relationship devolved so badly Mr. Wilson stood up (While I was in the midst of questioning yet another clause!!), walked away and, coming to s stop before a woman I later discovered to be the branch manager, loudly DEMANDED she take over my closing! I immediately said, “Oh, no, no, no! I f you want me to sign these papers, you’ll have to come back, do your job and finish this closing!” The manager walked over and said she would be happy to take over, but I refused. I told her since Mr. Wilson was the “one who brung me” to this dance, he was going to have to finish the job! She obviously didn’t want to order him to come back to close the deal, but since I was emphatically stating I would NOT sign off on this loan until Mr. Wilson came back to finish his job, she finally told him he’d have to come back and do the job he started. He did come back, surly attitude and all, and closed my deal, all while plainly choking back whatever he quite honestly wanted to say to me. As I rose from the desk to leave, I stopped at the manager’s desk and told her had Mr. Wilson been one of MY employees treating a customer as hatefully as Wilson had done (I’m retired), I would’ve fired him on the spot for SERIOUSLY not respecting a paying customer! She said, “I plan on taking care of it”. Now here it is, more than a year has gone by and guess who still answers the ‘phone when I call my local One Main office? Congratulations, ya got it on the first try. That’s right — Mr. Wilson himself! I can’t believe One Main not only tolerates such behavior towards its customers, but also actually encourages this behavior by not re-training the offending party!!! I don’t see myself surviving another attack like this, yet I’m also pretty certain Wilson is a “wide- open abuser” whose experiences have taught him to never, ever be kind to “the other guy”. I’m so appalled at those who seem no longer interested in true customer service (with “service” being the active verb in this matter), I’m considering writing to the Texas Attorney General regarding your company’s lack of professionalism! Meanwhile, I WILL NOT recommend you to any of my friends and family for fear of other elderly widows being treated in such a “high-handed” manner by an impudent young man in your employ!

      Buyer beware. I would not recommend this location to anyone... I was actually approve for a loan but they are not helpful or friendly when it comes to credit score education and what is considered a secure loan. Word of advise: any information you received from this location I would fact check it with the 1-800 number. I actually cringe when I have to call them over the phone to speak with them about my account. If I had to do it over again, I would of ripped up the mailer when it came to my house. Not Customer Friendly at all...

      I went online and filled out an app. and was approved for $11k and received emails to set up my account and upload my financial information. OneMain also said that a representative would call to set up an appointment to go over the terms and loan rates. So I call OneMain in Katy to set up a meeting or get the information I needed to continue with the process and was told "you are now declined". No details on why or explanation to the information I received as a response to my application. Beware if you apply here. They are a fraud!

      I have been doing business with One Main for several years now and it is always an absolute pleasure. They are always very nice and professional and getting a loan through them is quick and painless. I know when I am in a bind that they will try and help me if at all possible and their rates are fare! I am a lifer.

      They are absolutely no help, and harass on a daily basis, never get money from them whatever you do it is not worth it. They have understanding for human life especially during these difficult times and they do not do anything but bother and lie so they can keep you on their high interest loan!
