Paid a loan off and One Main reported my loan as closed which caused my credit score to go down 40 pts. Why would a company do that !? Report a paid off loan as PAID OFF!!! not CLOSED!! I wish they would stop calling and sending me mail. Not a good finance company even with excellent credit. Because if you don't put up collateral you'll still pay crazy interest. They should go out of business.

Getting a loan through One Main Financial was a great experience. We applied online and approved right away. After signing the paperwork, we received our loan the next day. They made a stressful situation less stressful.

My experience with One Main Financial was awesome! Easy peasy! In and out an hour had my money the next day! My experience with the employees was a 10! Very nice courteous and attentive! I highly recommend them!

So I connected with them thru Experian for a some loan they said I was APPROVED for the loan I asked for. Then after 2 hours later he calls back saying we’ll all we can Lend out is $1500 !?! So when I ask about what I ask before he said well we just can’t do that so I was okay well I can’t do the $1500 so no then with out questioning say okay and hangs up !!! So just cause he didn’t get his Commission off me he got mad and hung up. This is a professional building where they want us to borrow money from I advise anybody not even waste your time here SO UNPROFESSIONAL what a joke.

I was just inquiring about a loan and they got my information and end up putting it through without my consent and gave me a ding on my credit

I have had nothing but problems with One Main Please, be careful. They are taking advantage of people, mainly of color. Their interest rates are double of most loan companies, they try and charge you for insurance so are they covered by ant insurance against bad/unpaid loans? I want to get this paid and will never use them again. Use Lending Club.

WARNING: I would be careful borrowing from these people, make SURE you are aware of the terms and interest rate BEFORE coming down to sign off on a loan. I took out a 48 month Loan back in about June 2015 when the company was named Spring Leaf Financial, back then the customer service appeared to be great, I've been a loyal customer for about 26 months paid every single payment before it was due. Decided to go back to borrow again to help out a friend 'and discovered that customer service wasn't the same. I asked for a unsecured loan, since the manager on duty was aware that I had a clear title to a vehicle, she tried to push a Secured loan on me with a VERY HIGH interest rate. I told her that I didn't want to put up my title for collateral, and she said...WHY NOT? ITS NOTHING BUT PAPER. ( if the title was NOTHING but paper, Why did she want it)...... It appeared, She tried to take me for a fool. she wanted the title to my vehicle and give me a high rate. When I took out the Loan with Spring Leaf back in June 2015 My credit was GOOD and is better now. It appears that this company will use ANY excurse to help Justify the reason for your Very HIGH interest rate. ** I WOULD TRY TO AVOID BORROWING MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY** If you don't believe me by chance, when you get to the signing part, CHECK OUT THE RIDICULOUS interest rate. (Be Sure you are in a position to walk away from it). IF YOU ARE NOT SHARP YOU MAY LOOSE YOU CAR. DONE WITH THIS COMPANY IM OUT!!!!!!!!!!

Just took out a loan with this company. They worked with me but I would have liked more details on paperwork, loan terms, and amount of loan approval before arriving. I felt the expectations were lessened from our phone conversations about the loan details. However, the option and opportunity to build credit and obtain funds are great. Thanks...

Have hardship due to covid and I just needed my due date changed. Instead they tried to push another loan on me, and my second option was a defferal but I needed to pay half the bill now which I also don't have the money for, very unhelpful in a time like this, get a loan somewhere else, they arnt helpful at all

If you need a loan here marcus is the go to extremely helpful and quick and very professional and nice he did a fantastic job if i could give 10 star i really would ! I got approve for the amount i needed and got every question i had to ask answered.
