Open a loan in mid September, lady who helped me open acct said payment would be due November 11. Oct 11 a payment is withdrawn from my bank acct not even a month from when I received loan. Called branch to get info about mistake, spoke to Monica. She was not helpful and very rude. Didn’t help all all just kept saying “that’s not what your paperwork says”, instead of trying to see what happened. Asked to speak to manager, Monica then said she was the manager. I took out a $8k loan paying them basically double because of interest, therefore if I see a mistake I deserve to be helped professionally. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Feellied to, they were extremely nice when first in branch. She was really clear with providing info, and now they are backing out on everything that was said that day. Can not refer back to paperwork, because was not provided with hard copy and email link has expired(how convenient!)

I'm giving 2 stars because I appreciated how easy it was to submit documents online. I've been playing phone tag with Sadie for almost 2 weeks. I would call back and a gentleman would tell me that she would call back in 10-15 minutes which never seemed to happened. We finally do speak and she obtains information necessary to complete my application. She mentions that they "dropped" my loan app because they couldn't get a hold of me. This annoys me because I've returned all her calls. I giver her all my info and I tell her I submitted pay stubs online etc. We set an appointment for this upcoming Monday to complete the process for the loan. Cool. She calls back again today to complete my application and I'm thinking didn't we JUST do this yesterday? She asks for pay stubs. I repeated what I said yesterday -- I did that online. She states that even though their online portal offers that convenience, there's no guarantee they will receive them. Okay, that's weird? At this point I'm having a serious case of deja vu. During our Thursday conversation, she had lead me to believe that this loan would be approved and I would be signing paperwork to complete the loan. Today, she didn't have much recollection of our conversation and stated there was no record of my upcoming appointment. Today she stated that actually my loan probably WOULDN'T be approved but that she would let me know. She never called back to confirm, so I suppose I won't be wasting time going to their branch on Monday. I thought my experience with my first OneMain Financial loan with the Round Rock branch was awful, but this one takes the cake!

The 18% on the pre-approved loan wasn't the best, but after all was said and done, I ended up with a 30% interest rate. NOT what I was expecting, but I am still very thankful for them even when I don't have such an impressive credit score. This is just a minor but much needed step to my rebuilding. As for the branch itself... Wow. Just wow. The building is absolutely infested with cockroaches, piles of dead ones and scattered lines of live ones. EVERYWHERE. This alone made me want to walk out immediately and drop the loan entirely. Owing 2 grand to a place that can't even seem to get an exterminator? UPDATE: I carried this loan for less than three months, and my credit union actually approved me for a much higher loan at a much lower interest & monthly rate JUST so I could get rid of this company.

The 18% interest on the "pre-approved" loan wasn't great to begin with, but the payments were low enough that I would've been able to make two a month. They would've got their money, I would've been able to significantly improve my credit and pay less over the life of the loan by paying early. Win-win, I'd say. But no, only after they run my credit do I get a call saying the amount and rates are worse, and they want collateral. If I wanted a collateralized loan, I'd go to a real bank, not some online chop-shop. Know your role, bottom feeders... I wish some regulatory agency would step in regarding these predatory i-loan spots. In the meantime, I'll be doing my part by disputing the credit check and filing an FTC complaint for malicious business practices.

The people at OMF were very friendly. I wasn't approved at first but when I mentioned an offer I got in the mail, they honored it. In addition they have an awesome rewards program that allows you to earn points towards gift cards just for doing what you are required to, such as making payments on time, and signing up for schedule payments. If you need a loan go see them, or call them they are great and will help you out.

I'm hoping this review will help someone. DO NOT COME HERE for a loan. This agency is stealing the working classes money. There are so many other options out there do your home work first. I took a loan of 3,000 and one main financial is literally charging 8,000 plus my 3,000 and to be paid off by 2020 lol how is that even Feasible??????!!!!!! I can't do anything but laugh at myself on how these people are ROBBING me!! Iv'e been to there office and all they say is lets renew the loan R U Serious! I made a payment of $176 two days ago and $166 went to INTEREST!!! $10 late charge and absolutely nothing went to the principal. As I said DO NOT COME HERE.

Tip: get the highest amount possible and give most of it back to secure the lowest interest rate. DO NOT take any of the bells and whistles like unemployment insurance as it hinges on Texas workforce commission. Insurance policies are a joke.

This group of individuals is the most incompetent group of people. They are terrible communication and lie to you to rack up fees. Whenever there is an issue they have ZERO care for their customers. They make zero effort to even try to help fix their own mistakes. I would stay away from this branch.

I am giving them this review because we call and applied for loan and we were given appointment and was told to bring in income documents...the next day We call to confirm what to bring to appointment we were told we had no appointment and they did application again and we were told a smaller amount would be given for the loan. I dont like doing business with people who mess up try to make it seem like you mess up.. after i complain about to Sadie ...she ran application again than told i wasnt approve i told her i need the name of the person who took the application and said it was approve the day before she claim she couldnt give out 3rd party information i told her it wasnt 3 party information just like she gave me her name at the beginning of the i needed the name of the person who took my information.. she put me on hold than came back and said the same thing i told her i needed the name so i can tell there corporate office who i spoke with she put me on hold again and than told me Tosha Hutching was the person who lied about all this...very disappointed with one main at this location... i have had 2 loan them before but this will be the last time i will do business with them
