Chelsea Greene1We have closed with this company twice now. The first time we were the buyers and it wasn't bad. Second time we were selling to a family member and it was a NIGHTMARE! We split or land and sold half to my husband's brother. However they had failed to tell us the property we bought was in an HOA. No one had ever mentioned it to us nor was it anywhere in any of our previous paperwork. Then they said the HOA no longer exists, but the rules still apply. What?!?! It took them 6 months to get signatures from our neighbors approving it. Half way through that I had started calling often to check in. One day I called and was informed the woman handling our closing was no longer with the company and I had not yet been reassigned. Our second person was Frank Miller. He was better, but it still took 3 more months and he was not the friendliest of people. They never offered any apologies for leaving us on the outs or for the time it took. Tried to blame others for us not knowing about the nonexistent HOA. Like I said nightmare! Save yourself the time and money and use someone else.

Rebecca Womack1I wish we did not have to use this company, but because our prior lender had selected them on our behalf to refinance our house, we had to use them. We chose not to go through with the refinance during the 3 day right of recission. We selected a different lender, but Oklahoma Closing & Title Service told us that if we used a different title company, they would charge us $1300 and put a lien on our house until it was paid. So unfortunately we chose to stay with them instead of paying them their fees to leave them. Because of extenuating circumstances, we needed to have a mobile notary during the closing. However due to misaligned communications on the part of the title company, this was never confirmed for scheduling, and it wasn't I called OK Closing to confirm the notary that they acknowledged this and said they themselves would come instead to do the closing. At the closing, they stated and I also confirmed numerous times that the loan would fund on a Friday (we closed on a Monday). However, after calling them at 4:25 p.m. that Friday because the wire had not been sent, they said it would be Monday. (Up until that point the lender kept saying the loan had already funded.) The title company said it didn't. We still don't know what happened and everyone is pointing fingers at everyone else. The lender is now saying potentially Tuesday. In reviewing this with them, their response and excuses reflected failures in their own systems and operations. This should not be the customer's burden to bear or consequence to go through. The lack of transparency, accountability, and willingness to provide quality customer service to ensure timely processing of the loan has been distinctly absent in this transaction. They have failed to follow through on what they have said they would do and what our experience would be. Company initiated communications were lacking the entire time. I strongly recommend that any other title company be used than this one.

Travis Wyatt1I work with more than a dozen title companies in central Oklahoma, averaging 2 closings per week. I've had one experience with Oklahoma Closing and Title Services in Stillwater. I will do my best to ensure it is the only closing I have with them. They were slow to prepare the abstract on a refinance. They were expensive; they charged a $500 closing fee for a refinance. The staff and the closer were not friendly. To top it off, they were sloppy. Their final title policy overlooked our filed mortgage!! I can not name one positive thing about our experience with this title company. Engage someone else for your title work.

Jenni Birner1The worst closing company I've ever dealt with . The woman would never answer questions , she barely would even reply. After months she kept extending closing out, and not set a date line she didnt have a clue what she was doing. Dont care about everyime involved and how its affecting everyone but her and not ever apologize for keep setting closing off. We been waiting almost 3 months now. I wouldnt waste time or money on using them again when they employ people like that!

Bought a lot of homes but I have never had to sit in the same room as the other party awkwardly.... If 2 parties have a rough or disagreeable negotiating process and to be forced to sit and listen to there baby was unprofessional at least...
