Horrible, Horrible, Horrible - and disappointing. Did a refi with NECU a 2 years ago. One month I mis-wrote my mortgage payment out for $1 less - like 1398 instead of 1399. They cashed the check, which was on time and marked my payment 30 days late. Knocked credit score down 100 points. Been six months and they have still not fixed. Absolute disappointment for credit union. If you have banking needs to to Service Credit Union - Citizens or Federals Savings bank

Some people there are helpful but overall their online banking system makes no sense and I've had to deal with some unsavory customer support people. Had no choice but to use them to get my auto loan but will be looking for ways to transfer the loan elsewhere .

I have called three times last week and sent two emails asking for help with an international transfer, all the calls have kept ringing for up to five minutes and the emails have been unanswered. I don’t know what else I have to do to get their attention. I have had trouble with this branch for years and wish it wasn’t that way because I would rather bank with a credit union.

It is totally unacceptable to have to wait 35+ minutes on the phone for a customer service representative that will barely do you any good but will at least assist you with your financial needs. This is exactly what happened to me. I have called NECU many times before in regards to my financial needs, and they did just fine. Eventually, their customer "service" line cut me off and hung up on me. Instead of requesting me to call NECU because of an issue on their side, they should leave instructions on the website so that I can actually learn how to resolve the error I was having. I recommend against even trying to call customer service, and it has changed the way I think about NECU.

Rachel, Dawn and Sarah were a memorable panoply of support and information during my recent visit to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Branch. Meeting them was truly a welcoming highlight.

Bad customer service. I waited on the phone 4 different occasions for a representative for a very long time, was given the wrong fax number and all Nicole could say is that she was sorry. Nicole gave me the correct fax number and I faxed over needed document and she did not inform me that she was about to leave for the day. I waited next to the fax machine for the documents that she was going to fax over to me and nothing happened. I ended up calling back for the 5th time and holding on phone once AGAIN for EVER. Tammy ended up answering the phone and stated that she will be mailing per my request. Dealing w/this credit union is not a fun easy task.

Excellent customer service offered by Branch Manager Andrew Odor and Bre Moreau to resolve a time sensitive and important matter for our business. Well done and thank you!

Closed my account with them the other day; unresponsive customer service; doesn't answer inquiries via their on-line message center. I had an account where they literally stole $32 from my account for an overdraft fee when the account wasn't in the red and there was sufficient funds to cover the withdrawn amount. Not to mention their drive up ATMs CONSTANTLY have issues with being out of order, at least at certain branches.

The worst customer service ever. You should be so ashamed of how you treat your customers. Hire some rocks from outside and they would treat customers better. Pathetic! Every time I have ever called for service /it's down/ or I can't be help because of /said excuse/. Couldn't access my account because apparently only people with 603 phone numbers exist where my phone number doesn't begin with 603 EVER but you deny me service to my money because you guys put the wrong number in. Can't access online because you guys didn't reset the password. Why did the password need to be reset? Because they set me up with the wrong bank account. PATHETIC. Oh my god I'm dying here with how unintelligent some of you people are. Just spoke to Daniel and Erica who were kind enough to repeat themselves like broken records that they can't help me take money out of my account even though the funds are available. I asked them if they even had my account info in front of them or simply what my name was and Erica just stumbled upon her words that she didn't know. Wow. Who are you people??? Embarrassing! I'm taking my money somewhere else.
