Lookout Credit Union S 9th Ave, Pocatello

Where do I start....DO NOT GO TO THIS BANK! I have a credit card with my old bank that shut down and now lookout has it. I am currently dealing with fraud on my credit card and they transferred me to the fraud department. While going through the automated line, it had me to input my credit card number. Fine, but then when I have someone on the line, I need to give them my WHOLE credit card number because they couldnt see any information. I am super confused cause I was given a case number FROM LOOKOUT and they should be able to look it up with that but I guess not nor would they want that information. Also i have been given different numbers for the fraud department to reach out if i have any questions. From the sounds of everything so far (and still dealing with fraud), lookout credit union does now have their own fraud department for this situation. I have recieved barely any help, just transfers between departments that keep giving different information. I also updated my mailing address and apparently it's not updated or the fraud department can't see it, but they can see my old address. So I am gonna have to wait until they open their office and give them a call to make sure my address is updated, also to make sure that i can get updates. Do not go through this bank at all, it's caused nothing but pain and misery.

Denied a loan that was half the size of a previous one, that never missed a payment and was even paid off early, “Good” credit rating on the breach of excellent even, due to debt to income ratio?? Spare $150-200 a month?? Computer programs do not calculate my iron will to thrive and not just survive. (yes I went there) What “barely above poverty line” person, not to mention the middle class currently feeling the heat, that actually cares about their financial status, isn’t running close to broke on a monthly basis? New online app sucks, Now I’m locked out of my banking account because their servers went down but failed to notify me of such, so me trying to log in with my information multiple times while their servers are down, locks me out??????? Dropped the ball when you dropped the ISUCU name in my opinion. If it wasn’t tied to my student financial aid back when it was apart of ISU, I would be closing my account here. Their customer service is nice, employees appear clean and friendly, but the actual services they are allowed/capable of providing are failing IMO.

I banked at the ISU Credit Union for about 30 years. It worked fine as far as I could tell. ISU people were the directors! Now this Lookout C.U. seems different. My irritation is online web and phone. Of course, that is where most everyone by far access them now. Their site has become buggy, they want you download some new app to use. They say we have to, but this is the second one they have offered. It's good I didn't take either one. Nonetheless I worry about my funds and I am looking for another place. Is my money federally insured?

Amateur hour never ends at this place. Their website server consistently goes down, leaving you unable to access your banking. Most recently, it was down again. I was sent an apology email saying it should be back up shortly. I returned to the site to find I was locked out for trying to unsuccessfully access it earlier while it was down. It prompted me to reset my password using forgot password function. I changed my password only to get a message saying unable to process request, please call. I called the number and waited on hold for several minutes. It finally rang through . . . and then just kept ringing. No one answered. Their website does not work, and no one will answer the phone. Unfortunately, this not the first, second, or even third time I've encountered something similar to this experience. Multiple times. I would never bank with them on purpose.

Brian at the campus branch was super amazing in helping me with my auto loan! He was incredibly patient and friendly with all my questions, re ran numbers to help me figure out my budget whenever needed and was fast and efficient in my loan needs. I would absolutely recommend him for anyone looking for an auto loan, and the rates were great!

Brandi Hill was the epitome of cordial and effective service. I went into our original discussion expecting a good deal from Lookout. But Brandi went above and beyond my expectations. She found a better business opportunity than I expected and at the best possible rate. I highly recommend Lookout for anyone’s banking needs.

Lookout Credit Union has the most amazing staff! They are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and they do so much for the community! All of their staff members attend community events, and their organization generously contributes to so many worthy causes!

I had a really great experience opening an account here! It was my first time doing it by myself and they answered all my questions and got me all set up! They even kept checking up on me while I was waiting as well! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!

I always enjoy the friendly and efficient customer service I recieve at the branch on campus. They greet you with a smile and go out of their way to help you with any issues you have. Would recommend this credit union to anyone.
