      Took a loan out with them to get a vehicle last June. Never missed a payment came straight from my checking. Everything was fine. Payment 360 a month. Car was gone in the morning. Called Langley and asked what happened. They explained that my insurance wasn't renewed fast enough so they took the liberty upon themselves to add 3000 DOLLARS onto my loan and make my payments 420 with a bunch of hidden fees. So the passed few months with NO EMAIL OR CALL they were charging me additional fees and a higher payments. THEN had the audacity to tell me I can't see my ledger on my payment history. Respectfully argued that it's my information and I'm entitled to it. They are sending it now. Langely has been by far the worst experience I have had when it comes to banks, loans as well as customer support on the issue. Apparently the customer is never right and errors on their end is impossible.. -5 stars... and this is supposed to be a Christian ran business smh.

      I went in without an appointment to try and sort a few things out after a death in the family. Despite being understaffed, Tameka took the time to help me and resolve all of my issues. Really genuine and caring customer service. She went above and beyond which meant a lot during such a difficult time. Thank you, Tameka!

      Funding department is impossible to get in contact with and will not return calls. Been working on a loan for 3 days with this company and finally get an approval letter. I go to the dealer which is out of town and need to talk to the Funding department to finish up the process. Been at the dealership for 4 hours and no one has called. If you are looking for a easy process look elsewhere as this company does not care about customers. It's funny how a dealership can get the whole process completely done in a matter of hours but yet when you try to take initiative and go through the bank you are already a client of it takes over 3 days.

      “DO NOT USE THE ATM HERE” I’ve been a customer for over 5 years used atm at different branches with no problem. One morning I deposited $340 of that there were 8x20 dollar bills, the machine only counted 4x20 dollar bills. I went inside to explain what happen and filled out a form. It’s been a week already and I still haven’t gotten my lost money…

      Trash bank, don’t get a car loan from them, you provide proof of insurance And they still want to charge you interest and $400 /month for their trash insurance

      Never ever get your loan with Langley Credit Union. Terrible experience and never help me to remove automatic payments and their phone app sucks too. I would rather pay more interest to different bank to be convenient.

      Avoid talking to Craig at all costs. I went in there to inquire about a loan for a boat. He took my information & said he should know something within an hour. Waited about 5 hours & heard nothing. So my wife called & spoke to someone else, she was told it usually takes about 24 hours. Then over 24 hours had passed & we call back. Talk to Craig, he says "It's approved". I ask how long he had known, he said the approval came through that morning, this was the afternoon (Thanks for the call). I needed to get more information from boat seller. The next day I call to talk to Craig, he is on vacation (Thanks for telling me you were out the rest of the week). So got an appointment to talk to someone else on friday morning, Veronica. We get there & Veronica asked if we had like 6 different things that were needed to process the loan. NO, thanks Craig for telling us we needed all this. Veronica went out of her way to get all this finalized (we were going on vacation the next day). Veronica should get credit for this loan, as Craig sucks with people skills, and his job. I will never talk with Craig again! Thank you Veronica for helping us.

      I’ve been with Langley for a very long time. I’ve been to many different branches around Hampton Roads, and I have to say Veronica is the best! She is so helpful. We have had her help my husband and I multiple times for multiple reasons. She ALWAYS is knowledgeable and friendly. Langley could not have a better person working for them. I hope this branch recognizes what an asset she is for LFCU.

      Just opened a checking account here. Got my debit card same day. I've had my car loan here for a year and a half and finally decided to try them for a checking account. Got everything linked up and was out in less than 30 minutes. This makes things a lot simpler. Thanks to Craig for making it a quick and easy process.
