Noah Langteau5Very impressed with my visit here. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable, fast, and respectful. Cheaper transfer than anywhere else I know of ($20). As I was filling out paperwork I overheard a staff member talking with a difficult customer, but the staff member was kind, direct, and very respectful. Highly recommend this place for its prices and its quality staff.

Jade Pontious1I've spent aloooooot of money on jewelry here and today will be the last time I come here. We talked in with 10 min to spare I knew what I was looking for the lady already had all the jewelry locked up and the covers over them and was not happy that we came in looking for anything. Could tell she didn't want to sell us so I walked out and as I waited for who I came here with they closed the gates and made it really obvious to get the heck out.

N W5Whenever we come to town, we always go in to see what they have! My husband loves the selection of musical instruments and tools and I love checking out the DVDs and Blu-rays. I decided to purchase a Blu-Ray at a great price and they gave me an even better deal on it! The video games were also a great price!

Scott Brodie jr.4This is my favorite pawn shop in town but it does have it's flaws. As with any pawn shop they will low ball you pretty severely. You have to expect that I guess though I don't think it's right. When it comes to selling their own stuff to you they barely budge on the price. They might take off $5 maybe. I've noticed a lot of the same things have been in the store for years without selling because they don't reduce the price. The same faded tag with the same price will be there from several years ago. Now I do have to add they gave my wife a very good deal on a wedding ring. They reduced the price a lot and worked with her on payments and resizing. I guess it really just depends on the situation. From what I've found out from experience is they only give you 1/3 of the value of whatever you are putting up for trade. For example I went to trade a vintage guitar in for another one day. Mine was selling for around $900 (they looked it up and told me). They only offered me $300 trade in value. So whatever you bring in, expect to only get a fraction of the value. There is one weird and frustrating quirk of the store. All the vintage guitars, microphones, and various antique instruments displayed throughout the store are not for sale. They never have been and never will be. There was a guitar I've regretted selling that I can never get back because they have added it to their display. It will sit there unplayed until the store one day shuts down for good. Kinda sad. It's really frustrating for someone who is a collector or player of vintage instruments. They tease you with price tags hanging from them that turn out to be meaningless. I've asked and begged before. They will never sell those amazing instruments. They have hundreds. Gibsons, Fenders, quirky Japanese guitars, lap steels, accordions all from the golden era that will permanently be wall hangers. Anyways, that ends my review. Hope it was helpful.

Karleigh Moore3My husband and I attempted to call to see if they had any gaming consoles there was no answer so we opted to stop in on our way home. We were met at the door by a young lady who was extremely rude and short tempered I believe her name was Megan. If this had been my first encounter with the staff of the store I would not be inclined to return however because every other experience I have had there has been pleasant I will continue doing business with your establishment. I have bought several things within the past 6months. You are usually my first stop but not if that is the standard of staff.

Floyd Beach5I absolutely love this place. Went in today to purchase a gun. Was greeted as soon as we walked in. The gentlemen who helped was very informative about the guns that we had the most interest in. Great customer service. Wouldn’t consider going to another pawn shop. They have been in business for many years and today we learned why.

Bonnie Floyd5Great customer service!! Picked up a ring today that means the world to me. They took the time to make sure it was the right one and I walked out with the greatest feeling ever. I’ve been doing business there for over 10 years and wouldn’t imagine going to another pawn shop. Go check them out... they are great!!

Andrew Rhoades5Recently purchased an antique hand gun from L. Oppleman and I was thoroughly satisfied with the customer service I received, I ordered from out of state and they handled everything with the FFL transfer, which made it a quick a painless process. They also contacted me after purchase saying that there was a chip on the grip extender on the magazine that didn't have a clear picture on the posting. I was told that they would offer a full refund prior to shipping if I was not completely satisfied with the product and apologized about any inconvenience that it caused. I still went further with the purchase as the firearm itself was in great shape, and it's hard to find the honesty in business that they showed anymore for customer satisfaction. Would definitely purchase from then again.
