      First thing first I’ve had an account with Keesler for over 20+ years . Just got my first auto loan with them and due to poor communications by the credit union it caused chaos. Not to much information was given to me when opening the loan it was smooth, fairly easy and quick but now I see why. Make sure you get all the information you need from them at the time you open the loan lord knows it will not be relayed to you at a later date which then puts that loan at jeopardy. Never again. Employees seem lost and confused which causes interruptions and threats towards the borrower .

      Went in to open a savings account (new to the area). Sat down answered questions, wondering about some os them. Why do you need my income to open a Savings Account? Then was told they are going to run a Credit Report! WHY?? I asked why that was being done (it will affect your credit rating) and was told “that’s what we do, you are becoming a member. I want to put funds into your institution and be able to withdraw those funds when needed. If I needed to borrow funds, I would understand but this is very strange. I left and didn’t open and account.

      I have only done business online and over the phone, because I live in an area where there are no local branches, but the entire staff are always very friendly. I have had auto and. mortgage loans through them. I have referred several friends and family, who all have had great experience with them. I cannot understand the other poor reviews. If you have all the documents needed, the process is seamless.

      Applied for a mortgage and was assigned, Andrea Grey, to our account. Ms. Grey never once returned a phone call or email. We even went to Keesler to try and get some answers, we were given a different phone number to contact Ms. Grey, and were told she was waiting for the call. Once again she did not answer and did not return our phone call. We then called and asked to speak to a supervisor. We told the receptionist all the info and she assured us that she would relay the message to her boss, and that he would contact us within 24 hours. Needless to say, we did not receive a phone call, but instead a denial letter. This is our 4th mortgage and 4th home purchase. Never have we been treated so poorly, or rejected. Highly unprofessional.

      Extremely slow. You will sit for at least a half an hour waiting to make a deposit. To be fair, they only have one person taking care of everyone, while the 2 other people are just sitting there. I get you Halle to refill things, but do it before you open, not at the busiest time, or hire more people. It is absolutely ridiculous!

      I love KFCU, but good Lord. My change has to be rolled? It's $3.75 in loose change. There isn't enough to roll. You're a bank! It's money. Do you feel THAT entitled that I can't deposit change into my account simply because it isn't rolled? Sheesh. What happened to Stephanie? Cause she was by far my FAVORITE teller, and she never gave an issue with anything I needed. Had to come edit, because these people are all on different pages. Some tellers only need your bank card, some tellers only need your ID. I don't want to play mind games everytime I walk in here. I came in to exchange some 1's into 5's. Why the hell do you need my ID? Here's my bank card. Jesus Christ. Idiots.

      I was helping my mom translate to make a new account. they told me since I'm not under a joint account that I can wait in the lobby. Mind you I am her translator daughter and DO NOT Recommend BANKING WITH THEM!

      I found the Biloxi branch of KFCU to be very helpful. I inquired about personal and auto loans and was explained in detail what my options were for both. Monica Powell assisted me in the branch and via phone calls. She is very pleasant and attentive while juggling many responsibilities and clients throughout her day. She was able to help me find the right course of action to take in my finances and I highly recommend her! Everyone on the phone and in the branch was kind and helpful.

      Keesler Federal Credit Union is by far the worst business I have ever had the misfortune to work with. My late mother had a mortgage through Keesler. Despite the fact that I have sent Keesler her death certificate and every other documentation they have requested, the Special Loans Unit refuses to speak with me. In fact, they apparently don't speak to anyone. They only operate through email. Period. There is no human being you can speak to who will answer any questions. Even though you are permitted to email them, they do not respond. Over the course of three months and countless emails, I have received zero responses. There is a customer service department who handles calls. Yet, per those representatives, they do now know anything about what is going on or have any contact with those employees. They can simply advise you to email the people who will not respond to you. In addition to losing my mom, I've had the added burden of trying to work with these people who are able, somehow, to offer zero customer service and still remain in business. It has been horrible. If I treated anyone the way I've been treated in my job, I would have been fired long ago. Please get your mortgage - and do all your banking for that matter - elsewhere.
