      It's like walking into an operating room, in terms of gleaming cleanliness. But the staff wasn't clinical. They were friendly and cheerfully greeted me clear at the door (which, if you go in, you'll see is a long way across a big room). When I left I asked the teller for directions. He gave me his best shot, but somebody (a manager?) in a side office overheard and came out to add some details. Stood up and came out to talk, even though I was leaving and he couldn't have tried to sell me anything that day. So clearly just wanted to help, no strings attached. Long live Idaho. ICCU is Idaho through and through.

      Todd Palmer rocks! After receiving an automated phone call that I missed a payment, when I called back he found where the error happened and since it was a system issue that tried to hit us with a late fee he took the time to track it down, helped make the payment, and got the fees waved which I really appreciated!

      Great Credit Union. There have been people bagging on them on Facebook, and the reasons leave me scratching my head. If there is a glitch where money is deposited into your account twice...Why are you spending that money instead of going to the bank immediately after noticing you were twice as rich? This sounds like a user error—not the Credit Union’s. Budget and track income/expenses better, and you will never have problems like the ones I am seeing people claiming to have on Facebook. Again, this is a great Credit Union that has always been willing to work with us. Just make sure you know how to take care of tracking income/expenses and budgeting before setting up an account. :) If you see any red flags...Don’t wait 2+ months to go talk to them about it. Heck, if you have their app you can even live video chat with someone.

      UPDATE: Immediately after leaving this review I was contacted by the assistant VP of customer relations. He apologized profusely, and assured me that both of those interactions were the result of lack of training and software bugs. He was very polite and said that they were planned to fix both of those problems. Perhaps we will give them another chance in the future. This not a safe place to have your money!!!! I had an account and loan there. I took a leap and emptied my account to pay off my vehicle loan early. Hooray me! Well not hooray! The automatic payment was scheduled anyway. For an account that, like I said, had been emptied. No big deal, errors like this happen all the time. So I called the credit union to explain the mistake and to ask them to cancel the payment, which was scheduled for the following day. Before I explained my need, I informed the lady I was speaking with, that I was at Primary Children's Hospital with 2 of my children and needed to be brief so that I could be available for doctors or my children. It took her 30 minutes to inform me that she would not be able to help me and would be transferring me to "a specialist". I was so annoyed by the wait given my situation but hoped I would finally get help. The specialist explained that they couldn't help me at all. That it was my job to fix this via their online services. Services I couldn't access from the hospital. I once again explained my situation and that I couldn't have the payment pulled due to NSF. She apologized and said I should have cancelled before going to the hospital. I asked why I hadn't been informed it would be necessary to cancel it myself. Her response was, and I quote, "oh we can't keep track of everyone's loans and accounts". Now forgive my lack of understanding but it would seem that is their only job! In anger I marched in to close the account the next day. And wouldn't you know it they couldn't give me my $98 because they don't have that kind of cash and their printer wasn't cooperating. For $98!?!? Between the fraudulent payment they pulled from my account and not being able to give me my money when I want it I am surprised if they don't get sued!!!! Don't let them touch your money!!!

      Every time we come here everyone is so kind and understanding. Yesterday, my husband and I went in to get credit cards set up and we just wanted to say thank you to Austin for being so helpful! He answered all of our questions and made us feel confident in making that step. Thank you!

      My husband and I really loved our experience at ICCU. Mark and Darin both treated us very well and with respect, which is impressive since we're poor college students with virtually no income and zero credit. They were honest with us and really helpful, going above and beyond and with the "heart of a teacher" to answer our questions. One mild annoyance was our guy set my husband up as the primary account holder without asking us beforehand. I think that's a courtesy he should have remembered, but he was quick and happy to fix it when I brought it up later. Despite that minor thing, we appreciate the folks at ICCU being so kind, professional, and informative with us. We ended up closing an account with another bank because ICCU has a better interest rate, and is even easier to work with. We love this place and the people so far!

      I have a car loan through these guys and am very pleased with everything. Its so easy to pay my bill through their app. They offer great coverage incase anything happens to you or your car before you are finished paying it. My cousin also got a car loan through this bank and got the insurance they offer it really works his car engine broke down two weeks after he got it and they covered it! Thank goodness for that insurance! It definitely let's yout mind at ease that they cover those things for you for a small additional cost. SO WORTH IT!

      Just opened an account here. People here are really nice. Crystal and Darin helped me with my accounts and treated me like family. My husband and I just took out an auto loan from them, and we got a super great interest rate. I highly recommend everyone bank with them.

      I have always had a pleasant experience at this branch, and with ICCU in general. This branch always seems to have kind, knowledgeable people. We've done everything lots of stuff there, including standard banking, getting cashiers checks, and shopping for loans. Not sure if he's there any more or not, but Mr. Koontz is an excellent person to work with while loan shopping.
