Tez Wright1I had a vehicle finance through Honor Finance and when the vehicle was paid off I received a title 8 months later I still had the vehicle but didn't drive it..years later someone wanted to buy the vehicle from me so I got the title and noticed that Honor Finance was still on the title as First Secured Party which I never noticed because I received the title after the vehicle was paid off(they should have not been on it )why was they still on the title...so 5 years later I try to contact Honor Finance and get this cleared up but to my surprise there is no more Honor Finance its now Westlake Financial...long story short after verifying who I was I explained to the lady what was going on so she put me on hold, comes back and tells me that since I paid off my loan before they took over Honor Finance she can't give me a clear title or a release letter I would have to contact whomever held the title before I paid off the vehicle...(WHICH WAS HONOR FINANCE) which is no longer in business they are now (Westlake Financial who I'm on the phone with) but she tells they have my account but can't do anything for me because it was before the company changed hands I have to go back to the company that helded my lein before them which was Honor Finance (WAIT A DAMN MINUTE THEY ARE HONOR FINANCE...this is some serious bull!!!! Mercedes W. you talk a fast game and talking in circles don't make you no smarter only show how full of bulls$%t you are!!!!!!!

Jeremy Harris5Going to give it 5 so far. My little story. 24.9 interest because of my past credit I understand. Was set up on 42 month plan. 325 a month. I paid 500 most months and made a 3000 payment when I got my taxes last year. Which lowered my daily interest rate. Today I made a 4,000 payment and paid my car off. I paid it off about 15 months early. Never missed a payment never was late on a payment I called today to get the next steps for getting my title to my car they informed me that I had to send in a picture of my ID the last four of my credit card info for a non disputed form if I wanted my title within 30 days. Other than that it will be mail out after you can't legally dispute which is 90 days. Which I definitely understand. So I'm sending in this info now. I will give them a solid 45 days ( I'm in no rush) if I don't have my title in hand I have no problem showing up to their office which is only a few hours away. And I'll update this review. I've only had to contact customer service 2 times during my entire contract. They were cool. I messed up my credit when I was younger so I was not trying to be late or miss payments. Yes life happened to me. I went through 3 jobs during this contract. So I had pulled money out of my 401k, use tax money, or make larger payments just in case these types of things happened. My overall experience has been cool. I will definitely update this review if something else happens.

Shawn Deal1As far as flexibility they are ok. I always paid on time. Paid my final balance in full of $4,000 back In April, still waiting on my title. When I called to demand it earlier (even with the balance paid in full) they denied it... I told them I needed sooner rather than later. So sending it out the day after their 90 day (so they claim) policy. It has been well over 2 weeks and I still haven't received anything. That is the most inconvenient part of this establishment. Seeing a lot of negative reviews about titles not be delivered to a paid off owner... has anyone ever received a title through them? 🤔

Jon Lott1BUYER BEWARE FRAUD!!!! Terrible company. Wow is all I can say. Have had my car (3) weeks. Now telling me my deal is being cancelled weeks after the fact. Due to a personal dispute. Questioned my integrity and were completely unprofessional and nasty to deal with verbally. Including the VP of operations, told me he will sleep fine tonight after verbally abusing me. What they did is illegal, I would have never drove off the lot had I known the finance deal wasn't complete. Still wasn't 3 weeks after the fact. Have just filed cases with the Attorney General in Illinois & Indiana as well as auto dealer compliance with the Secretary of State in Indiana & Illinois as well. Also a police report! Buyer beware!!!!!

Patricia Wilson1I’ve been with this company 5 months and their TERRIBLE. The only person helped me was Desmond he’s an executive and Matthew he’s higher up too. Other than them no one. I feel I’m being ripped of my car note is $292.37 add that up to 5 months that’s only $1,461 I calculated all my payments up online in my payment history it’s saying I’ve already paid $2200 I have been late a few times but late fees are on $15 a month where does a extra $800 come from? I’ll hire a lawyer FAST i don’t care if I don’t get any money out of it they won’t get away with just taking somebody money that’s for sure!!!! I’m asking for all my records to be released to me for late payment and payment history. The dealership where I got my car they won’t even give me my regular license plate! I’ve been riding on and expire temp sense December

Trudy-Ann Currie4So far my experience has been good. >My experience with customer service was fine. There was alot of verification, your job, pay, address, bill w/ your name on it etc. I did a phone interview, kinda like a welcome and confirm your loan details, payments and see if you have additional questions. >My monthly payment is auto debited to avoid late fees & to avoid online payment fee. >I had a 436 credit score, they worked with me and I did not need a cosigner :) . APR (24.95%) is high and based on your credit. Score went up some after loan was added to my credit report. I feel no matter what company you go thru, high APR is a given if your credit is not so great. You're not necessarily able to choose which bank to work with. They choose you and you determine whether to accept or deny. >Total amount to pay is way more than car is worth, of course, but that's the price you pay based on your past mistakes and credit worthiness. Just have to work to improve over time. >It's been almost a year, all on time payments, will check for possible refinance. Doesn't hurt to ask. I've had no reason to call, so not much additional feedback on customer service. Will update later on if any changes or nonsense occurs.

jessica schaut5I had a car loan through them and anytime I had an issue where I had to pay a few days late (I ended up on bed rest) they worked with me on it. Everyone there is nice and helpful. Only wish my loan was a better apr... Very happy with my experience with them though!

Tearra Washington1By far the worst people to do ANY financial business with!!! I still can’t believe the way they operate!! How is it that I’ve paid each of my 33 payments each month, no late fees, and they are saying I owe them and additional $500 for reasons they can’t even explain to me. I called to pay to off my account and was told I couldn’t be cause I owed additional financing charges? How? I was told he didn’t know by the person on the phone! So technically they are illegally holding my title for paid for merchandise because they want more money than my contract stipulates! Please ask for ANY other finance company if you have ANY other options! Where is my *** Title???

Grangie To you3They gave us a loan for a high mileage 2013 vehicle. Wouldn't settle for the same car 2012 with a lot less miles. Didn't like that or understand why. Our credit is in need of help so we took the 2013 with a large APR for 48 months bringing our pymnt to around 340. Sucks but it has helped our credit and they have been reasonable with a couples pymnt that were late. Even though we got a crummy deal, we are thankful for the offer. They didn't have to accept us and the positive communications hence the 3 stars. We want to try and refinance soon so we will see how that goes.

Merry Trotter1Terrible company, poor customer service, I cannot understand most Representatives, fee for making payments. I'm grateful they helped me get financed but I quickly refinanced. No help... Stay clear if you can! Less than 1 star....
