As a small business owner here in PCB I heavely rely on the accessibility to cash to operate my business. Im glad other people had great experiences here. Honestly I dont do that much "check cashing" so I am not that experienced with these check cashing companies. I can tell you I was humiliated once when I went into the store on Back Beach. I had a cashiers check which had been sent to me for a item I had sold, and didnt have the 2 weeks to wait to turn the check into cash for another business item needed. I realize cashiers checks, like all checks are often forged. I also know that when you are in the check cashing business you realize this, and you decide to either take that risk or simply not deal with cashiers checks. I asked if they cashed cashiers checks. She said "let me see the check," looked at me funny and said shed never heard of this bank-and no she wouldn't have given it was mailed to me from CA. Find a clerk that knows every bank in the country and you have a real gem . She looks at me in accusatory fashion and says "Ive never heard of this bank, whats this for?" I explained I had bought something and the check had been mailed to me, that I had taken the check to my bank, they verified the check, but said it was their policy to wait 14 days before paying on it. I simply needed the money before the 14 days and its why I was there, asking if they cashed cashiers checks. She held the check again looking at it suspiciously and said "you do know these are some of the most faked checks in there are, they are faked all the time" I said "yes I know that, and I also know they are legit most times, and I took it to my bank to have it checked out before I mailed the product the person was paying for with it". I just wanted to know if they would cash the check or not. Again she went on about how often they are faked and how this one -being as she, apparently the Cashiers Check God-wasn't familiar with this bank something must be wrong. By now I had had enough and was simply going to leave and find somewhere else or let it sit 14 days...But here is where it got down right offensive..she looks at me and says "you do know if this is fake this is a federal crime? You will be tracked down and you'll go to prison for this"...So I go in to get a check cashed, and the clerk is sitting here saying she suspects I may be peddling a bad check to her and shes threatening me with prison ....SMH..Listen, if your that scared to cash the check, just DONT HANDLE CASHIERS checks. Dont threaten and intimidate with talk of prison and felonies blah blah blah. Just dont cash them if they are that often forged. After this I was finished. I demanded the check back from her, and told her Id go elsewhere, I didn't come in the the business to be insulted as a criminal and threatened with prison. So if you go here, if this person even still works here, as this was before the storm be sure your check is run of the mill common or they will accuse you of being a criminal. As far as the business goes, if your that concerned or scared of a certain type check just say no, you dont cash them and post it outside. But threatening and humiliating a customer is not the answer. I wont be back in the business, at least not this branch.

Big Thank you to Friendly Check Cashing store on the beach !!!! Our company has employees working in town that had no way of being able to cash payroll checks we mailed them. This company worked it all out and now my staff as access to the funds they have worked so hard for!! THIS COMPANY IS AMAZING !! FRIENDLY STAFF AND GREAT SERVICE.

friendly check cashing should be ashamed of there self for taking advantage of FEMA disaster relief checks that people are cashing with them . my mother in law is in poor health and lost almost everything do to hurricane Michael and she got a small check for all she lost around 1500$ and friendly check cashing took more than 60$ just to cash it. I understand everyone needs to make a living and there trying to run a business but they don't need to take that much out of a FEMA check. friendly check cashing you should be ashamed of yourself.

Being as I do not live on the beach anynore, I only visit once a year to file my taxes and let me tell you, the staff is always uber friendly. I'm a very reserved (shy?) Individual by nature and they always make me feel so welcome and comfortable when I go in. Whether it's a new face or a face I saw the year before, the staff always treats me like we have known each other forever. They are always so informative and they get you in and out in record time. Which is much appreciated.

If you just want to cash a check then go else we're. I stand in line with the same lady working every week. Only one person in from of me 4 behind me and I been here 45 min already. Some older blond lady, the only one that is bad at this place. If she is working your best bet is to go to walmart. Even with the lines they are 10 times faster then she.
