We have only been banking here a short time but have had a great experience so far. The tellers are always friendly and call us by name in the drive thru. Brandon in particular deserves a shout-out! We had an emergency home repair that required us to get a loan in a very short amount of time, and he was able to pull it off for us. Great service!

      Response from the owner

Wow, Lauryn. You really know how to make a credit union smile (yes, that's possible)! Thank you for the kind words and we'll be sure to share them with Brandon, too. We looks forward to serving you well into the future!

I had a savings account with them for nearly 24 years. My mom made my account when I was a baby she was custodian of my account until late 2019 when I took her off because I was over 18. Barely 6 months after that they closed my account because I didn't use it. They took dormancy fees until my money was gone. Not a call or a letter saying they were closing my account. They closed my account last April. Didn't know they closed my account until I called asking about my account balance. It's very disappointing with the way all of it was handled from no notification of account closing to the very little help I received. The only thing they told me to do was come in and make a new account. After years of having an account with them this is how I was treated just because I didn't use my account enough for their liking. I just don't make enough to warrant using my account seeing as I get paid in cash.

      Response from the owner

We are sorry to hear that our dormancy policy has shaken your trust in financial institutions, that is certainly never the feeling we want you to leave us with. We do require one transaction per 12 months or total balances greater than $100 in order to consider your account 'active'. The $5.00 per month that we charge for dormant accounts is to offset the administrative costs we incur keeping the account open. We are very sorry you didn't receive the notification of your account's status, as we of course would want you to have every opportunity to keep your account with us open. If you have any additional questions you'd like answered or feedback you'd like to share, please feel free to call us at 920-993-9000.

Very good bank, great employees, nice Clintonville location and normally great service. Lately, however with your new system your service has fallen by the wayside. I was able to get on the system and sign up and into my account in no time and everything was done so smoothly I could not believe it. I then setup my partners account same thing smooth. THEN the next day I tried to log into his account with his phone and got Your Account Has Been Disabled contact bank. I can’t get anyone on the phone, pressing 4 does nothing, pressing any number does nothing. I can’t take a day off work to setup his account, he knows nothing about setting it up, it took me forever to teach him to use your site. Please Fix This Fast

      Response from the owner

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback, Ellen. If you are still having problems with logging into -your account, please give us a call at 920-993-9000 and we'll be happy to help you out.

I have never been treated so poorly in my life, if you don't like your job just quit instead of taking your aggression out on customers. Don't even bother applying for an account here! They want everything from you besides a blood sample. I simply needed a bank to have my check deposited, and was turned down. My credit is decent and I found a different bank and am very satisfied. Also what is the point of an online application if you have to go to a branch, waste of time. I would expect more from a credit union!!! I don't want to give one star, but you have to give at least one to post a review!!!

      Response from the owner

Ashley, we're extremely sorry we fell short of expectations. We strive for service satisfaction and we appreciate you letting us know of your upsetting experience at our branch. That's not how we want to treat members and potential-members. As for the information we ask for when opening new accounts, we're bound by government regulations. By adhering to these regulations, members are ensured that Fox Communities Credit Union is a safe place for people to keep their hard-earned money. Lastly, we are working on improving our online membership application. You're completely right, what's the point of it, if you still have to come to the branch to open your account? We are currently in the process of evaluating a platform which will allow for a seamless, online-only membership application. Thank you again for your feedback.

Horrible bank don't bank here… they are very strick an don't give out loans unless your like perfect. I get approved for loans everywhere else but not here..my credit is good. It used to be not so good years ago. They are rude the loan officers. The worst bank I've ever had.. Gunna get my husband out of it too. They won't cash other people's checks without a fee. My other banks didn't do that.. A lot of other things just not a bank u want. There are so many good ones out there..

      Response from the owner

Connie, we appreciate your feedback and we’re sorry we’ve fallen short of expectations. We try our best to work with all of our members and non-members on their loan needs. Unfortunately, there may be an instance where we are unable to meet a loan request. We’d hate to lose you as a member/owner. May we have one of our team members contact you to learn how we can improve?

I was also turned down for a checking account to have my paycheck deposited into. After having a business checking with this bank for a year and a half, I was shocked to hear that they were denying me a personal one! I went down the road to BMO and had a very pleasant experience, they were happy to help me.

      Response from the owner

Wanda, we're sorry we've fallen short of expectations. Unfortunately there are instances when we're unable to meet an account-opening request. We'd be more than happy to talk with you further to explain. You can reach us at (715) 823-2191.
