Nolita Nolita5I decided to try this location after a terrible experience at Ace Cash Express. I had never heard of this company before but upon walking in the atmosphere was very clean and the representative, Tasia instantly greeted me with a warm smile. Throughout the process she explained to me that she was creating a profile for me so that in the future the process would go much faster. I appreciated her being so informative and polite and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I will be using this location from here on out. Professional, efficient, and informative.

FIVE STAR 1211I went to cash my check.First they didint have money. Secondly the lady put it on a debit card bujt now i still can't get my money because she put in the wrong write so now i got to go thru christmas with no money. Thanks alot.

Nice Lady1This is in regards to the First Virginia on the corner of Denbigh and Warwick. The ladies at the Mercury Blvd address in Hampton are AWESOME!!! But this 1 star goes to the horrible team at the Denbigh/Warwick location. I was treated so bad by Ms. Pat that works there and the District Manager. At the end of September, I was told by a new staff (who confirmed with a seasoned staff member) that I could make my October payment early and re-borrow. Well, the next time I went in at the end of October, I was told by this same staff that my October payment was late (basically that it had not been made) and interest had been accrued, even though I had paid it in full already. Ms. Pat got involved in the conversation and that is when things took a turn for the worst. Why am I being penalized for something a staff member told me I could do!!! The District Manager was called and she said that the interest amount stood and that I had to pay it. I called the corporate office and they couldn't even do anything. Today I found out, that they charged an amount to my bank account by mistake and now they need to reimburse me. SMH!!! I have been a great customer!!! I'm never late with a payment, never have they had to call me. But this is how they treat me??? During such difficult times, kindness and good business practices go a long way but this location clearly does not know the meaning, nor do they display it. I will drive all the way to Hampton, even though I live near this location to do my business with the ladies at the Mercury location, before I EVER go back to the Denbigh/Warwick location!!!

Lexi Frye1Worst place ever. Run!! I took out a loan that has been paid off and got a letter for a balance do. Went in to try to clear it up and the lady acted like she couldn’t do anything at all. Not print out my account history just said it’s closed and wouldn’t even put it in writing. Way to much of a headache and hassle. Took calling corporate to get my history printed out. If you don’t have to never go to this place!!!

Jessica Ferrell1If I could give it a zero I would. The girl that works there named Emily is the WORST! I'm sitting here now and we got here at 630, they close at 7. Do you know they said they couldn't help us because they close 30 minutes later! Then as I'm giving her my info she is snatching everything out of my hands! Now I was just in here earlier with another person and it took maybe 20 minutes for all paperwork. You mean to tell me that with two workers my paperwork couldn't get processed. This Emily character is so rude and unprofessional and has no value for customer service. I am just at lost for words. 1st Virginia really needs to cut her loose. When I came in earlier there were others in here that she was just rude and nasty to them too. She gets rude with her mouth and actions. I'm just appalled at the customer service this Emily person showed us and its crazy because I brought her not one but THREE CUSTOMERS guaranteed approval! This is how loyal customers are treated. This isn't the first time I dealt with it from this Emily person either. A year ago she was the same way. Smh I'm done!

Cut me off and talked to me like I was stupid , sorry I don't ask for money often like most you welfare mfs do f outta here ! Poor service don't go here if you aren't as "smart" as them ..

Michael Waters1Been dealing wit them for years, I thought they where in business to help in times of needs which I found out was wrong. My issue is why not give a courtesy call when interest is about to incure instead of calling 20 times a day after. People can not afford these outrageous interest charges.. Sorry jus venting, a loyal first Virginia customer til NOW!!!
