Sir, I can empathize and definitely feel your frustration. But unfortunately, we don’t insure you, nor have we ever insured you. You are not our client and that limits what we can do for you. We apologize if you feel like you have been treated unfairly, I believe your frustration lies in you trying to find out information about one of our insured clients. But I am sure you can appreciate and understand we have an obligation to OUR client. We are not in the habit of breaking our clients trust nor the law. We are bond by certain laws and regulations that mandates that we maintain our client’s personal information. Thus, distribution to anyone other than our customer is not permitted nor done. I would hope you would want us to do the same for you. That being said what we have done is sent you confirmation that there is a claimed filed. We have let you know that we are not your insurance agent nor are we the insurance claim adjuster for this case. We have directed and given you the phone number for you to contact the Insurance Company that is handling your claim. We have given you this information numerous times and explained we as an agency do not have the authority to cover or not cover a claim (no Insurance Agent has that authority) it’s an individual Insurance Companies obligation. Therefore, we cannot authorize nor make payments to you. It is the insurance company’s responsibility, legal right and obligation to work with our client and you. So, to clarify, As an Insurance Agent our responsibility is to our client, which is being assisted quickly and appropriately as we always do. Our responsibility to you is to ensure you we are in contact and assisting our client with everything they need to do in this most unfortunate situation. We are here to assist within the confines of the law and to provide you with the Insurance Information.
