      I thought this was a place of resource and a place that would provide help if someone is struggling.....but I have went and requested rental assistance and they accepted my paperwork and informed Mee I would recievbe a call in two days regarding my application. 6 days later I call and inquire about it and thee same lady who took my paperwork said she couldn't find it. Noww I have went to ask for help with a gas voucher explained my situation and they denied me again. If you truly need help and are struggling this place picks and chooses who they help and who they dont.

      As a member of the United Priority Cabinet (UPC) of the Salina Area United Way (SAUW), we hold our meetings at different organization in our community. Our meeting was held here tonight. Before our meeting began, we were informed about the different programs that are offered through Catholic Charities. We had an immigration lawyer explain to us some of the programs. We took a tour through their Thrift store and their sorting room for food, toys, hygiene kits for the homeless, and etc.
